Beautiful and multi uses.

These bowls are great for summer salads. They are also good for vegetables to be served in if you don't have a lot of people. They are so pretty. They have a design inside as well as outside.

Colors a little dim

I did not pay too much attention to the coloring of the plates, thinkong they are not as bright because the picture does not show as well as real life. I was slightly disapointed that the painting on the collection was not as bright and cheerfull as I expected. It looked almost wahed out. If I would have seen it first in real life, I might have chosen something brighter for the same price! Its a bit pricey for being so "foggy".

Beautiful Dishes

I saw these dishes last year just before my birthday and decided that I would treat myself! And I have been collecting them ever since. There are so may beautiful pieces and they all look so nice together. I use my dishes everyday. I can't wait to complete my collection. They are just so cheery and a delight to look at. I have always wanted a set of dishes that I could truly enjoy and I found them!

I love this china

I originally purchased the tea set (teapot, sugar and creamer) I eventually bought other pieces. Though I have to admit I haven't used but a couple of pieces mainly the teapot. I looked for a really long time for a china to replace my current china which had flowers on it but it was 30 years old and finding replacement pieces was difficult and most of my old china is cracked and chipped, but hard to get rid of. This spring I will be using this lovely Lenox china. I hope to enjoy for a long time.

As durable as they are beautiful!

The Butterfly Meadow collection lets our family enjoy spring flowers year-round. The pattern just evokes good feelings - you can almost smell the flowers and feel the gentle breeze. And they are so versatile - frig to microwave to table, and they can even be used in the oven. I've enjoyed mine for years and not a single one has chipped or cracked. This is easily the most beautiful set of China I've ever seen. I have 4 other tableware sets. One of which is actually another Lenox set. I admired this particular set for over a year. When I finally broke down and purchased it (I just HAD to have it). I decided I would use it for my everyday set of dishes. If your going to own something so beautiful why not use it everyday? I'm so pleased with it and still purchasing it piece by piece. I doubt very much I will ever look for another everyday set or even a Holiday set. It's just to pretty not to show off. Even with a husband who happens to have very slippery fingers, to my surprise It's very durable . All I have to say is Thanks Lenox and Macy's for saveing me the aggreivation of looking for new everyday tableware sets every two years or so.

Elegant Gentility

Butterfly Meadow is a showcase dinnerware set that easily transitions from every day dinners with the family to fine dining dinners with friends. These dishes have proven themselves to be as durable as any I've used, and more than most considering I have both granite counters and tile floors - they bounce! In the 4 years since I started collecting the set, I've only managed to break the butterfly off of my teapot - gladly replaced by Lenox at minimal cost and in record time.

I first admired the Butterfly Meadow pattern in a Macy's catalog while visiting a cousin on Cape Cod. When I moved into my new condo shortly thereafter, I remembered the set I'd seen in the Macy's catalog. Since I wanted to get everything new for my new home, I wanted to replace all my old dishes, glasses and flatware. When people asked me what I could use as a housewarming gift, I suggested Butterfly Meadow. I now have service for 12 in the china pattern, flatware, and gem colored glasses. I also received two large platters, 3 vegetable bowls, salt and pepper shakers, napkin holder, trivet, creamer and sugar bowl and tablecloth. My first 4 place settings were given to me by my cousin from Cape Cod. I use the set every day and holidays and get so many compliments. At 64, I feel like a bride all over again.
