Good quiet unit, but controls are inside the door.

This is my second wine refrigerator. I had to replace my previous one due to a coolant leak to expensive to repair. So the warranty on the Ca'Lefort, which was better than most comparable units, was a prime consideration. Since I've had it for a couple of weeks I can tell you that it runs extremely quietly. Overall I'm very satisfied with it. My one issue is that to adjust the controls or turn on the lights I have to open the door to the unit and allow the temperature to modify as a result. That seems counterproductive to the goal of keeping the contents at a constant temperature.

Tbis is a great fridge!

Update to My Previous Review

Updating the review: I contacted the Ca’Lafort team and they re-sent the new fridge and the new fridge is working well, the customer service communication and treatment was outstanding through the entire process.

poor performance

Cosmetically appealing, poor constructiom wooden shelves do not freely move, louder than anticipated, fan/compressor never shuts off

Great wine cooler

Excellent value! Like the dial cooling zones. Also like the lighting options. The only issue is the difficulty of sliding the shelves in and out. They get stuck almost every time and you need to “work” them to get them to slide in all the way. It would appear that it’s a poor design.

Nice unit with one negative

Nice looking, very functional, holds bottles as stated, cools as stated. Only critical comment is the noise level. While the compressor is running, decimal level is in the 20-30 range which is surly decent BUT even with low db level, it is annoying. Keep in mind, that part of the function cycle is only for a few minutes. Out of an hour it may occur for 10 minutes or so. The rest of the time it is basically quiet. It certainly keeps the wine cool at both temp settings. It is a dual temp unit.

Pretty but Doesn't Keep Wine at Temp

I wish I could love this wine fridge, but it just doesn't keep the wine at the correct temps.
