It's perfect! Through Walmart, I was able to find the tile I purchased 10 years ago at the most reasonable price!

Gorgeous Tile

It's beautiful tile! The plan was to do just the shower but the tile is so nice I did the entire bathroom.

I can't believe that MSI has discontinued this. Not only is it much more affordable than actual calacatta, it's also very pretty and works for a variety of purposes. I installed it in 2017 and 2020. Wish I could still get it bc I love it!

Misrepresented

This tile would look amazing and perfect if it actually reflected the pictures… Unfortunately, the pictures that Home Depot has here are very misleading and not truly representative of what you will get.

This was my second purchase of this exact tile and unfortunately, the shading was dramatically changed. It had a slight cream color to it previously but is now a bright white. Much more than a simple batch/lot variation.

So beautiful. When the sun comes in the morning the floor reflects like a mirror. We have a stained glass window and the colors reflected in the floor are amazing. Easy to clean too.

too many broken tiles in every box

Every box had multiple broken (chipped) tiles. At one point I had to just install the chipped tiles agains a wall and hope they wouldn’t stand out too much. They still did but I would not have had enough tile if I hadn’t. Also, I bought and extra case to account for a few chipped or broken tiles. Not nearly enough.

I ordered 8 ea 24x24 tiles for a fireplace covering (one extra incase of breakage). The tiles arrived at the Home Depot Store for pickup in strong boxes with extremely good packing. Even with the great packing, four of the eight tiles had damage (two with small chips, one with small saw cut, one with major chip). I was able to work around all the flaws and chips with selective sawing. These tiles are beautiful and the end product looks terrific. If I had to have 24x24 tiles everywhere there might have been a problem - in my case things worked out. My wife and I are very happy with the tiles - they look like marble.

It is being installed as I type! I liked the tile as soon as I opened the box, but seeing it installed in my 5' x 5' shower, I love it even more! It really does replicate the look of Calacatta Gold Marble for fraction of the price! No broken or damaged pieces and my professional installers have not complained whatsoever! I can easily recommend these Pietra Calacatta Porcelain Tiles ---12" x 24" ! I will add photos when the shower is finished !

I am building a new house, and I ordered a box of this tile to be sure it was what I wanted. It has not been installed yet. The tile is so much prettier than the picture. It is the nicest marble look tile I have seen, and at a great price. It looks very expensive. I recommend it highly if you want an elegant marble look with a polished finish.

These were obviously 2nds from your tile supplier. Please consider dropping this supplier since they don’t value the arrangement other than to dump off their leftovers. Several of these tiles were not flat but on one end a few of them actually sloped downward.

BATHROOM TILES

The tiles look very nice on the wall however my contractor had problems with the installation. The gauge of the tiles is not consistent nor bevelled at the edges so trickier to match heights for grouting. Also they are difficult on carbide drill bits. He broke several trying to put up the shower rod even when drilling in the grout between tiles.

This tile was the very same one offered by a specialty tile store, same manufacturer and color, but for a much more reasonable price. The shipping was nominal and the packing was great. There were zero broken tiles. It was a great find on Home Depot's website!

I really like the bold marble look and the color, warm grays and a hint of gold. I thought it was too bold for my floors so I used it in my white/gray kitchen instead. The color matches my concrete countertops just perfectly and creates some wow in the modern kitchen. Like other users, I spent a lot of time arranging and choosing each tile and trying to lay them as if the pattern continued, and yet to make invisible the repeating similar figures (which are many and quite obvious). Turned out beautiful!

Horrible! Do not buy! The tile is so porous that it absorbed the gray grout so now I have gray splotches all over my brand new tiles. I am so upset I do not know what to do except have my tile guy rip it all out and pick a different tile. This tile is going to cost me a double install.

The tile arrived well before the scheduled delivery time at the store. It's very shiny and beautiful. Do note however, that in the online/store image/picture makes the tile looks like it has a lot of gray to it, but that is not really the case. It's more brown, more neutral looking than this picture. I am not disappointed though, I will adjust my colors so it works.

Looks a little different than the pictures

Has a lot more gold/brown/yellow in it than the pics show, but closely resembles natural marble. Surfaces are very slick, so not ideal for entry ways or somewhere you would walk often (especially when wet). However it makes for a great shower surround and bathroom floor (assuming you are pro rug). All in all, very pleased for the price. The slick surface also makes cleaning off excess adhesive or grout a breeze (using a putty knife).

Good looking large format tile

Excellent product for a large format tile. Very slick so better on walls (shower) than floor. Heave with a good pattern variety. The lot I received had the tile "grain" running lower left to upper right (looking lengthwise) on 95% of the tiles which limited the potential patterns for setting the tiles on the walls...but it looks good. Tiles are very heavy but a 1/2"x1/2" nutched trowel with large format porcelain thinset (also from HD) worked well.
