Colors are not what they seem

Love the thickness - not too thick that you get hot at night, but still thick enough to feel very luxurious and comfy. Beautifully made, very nice quality. Only disappointed in the colors. Ad makes it appear predominantly grey. But it is actually predominantly black and the gold is shimmering - almost metallic. Colors are extremely bold, not subdued like in the ad. See pic (I had not added the bed skirt yet). And why do the ads always make them look so fluffy? It's not fluffy like shown. If you like bold deep black and shimmery gold, this is a beautiful comforter and very comfortable. I'll have to trade it out in a different bedroom. It doesn't work with my color scheme.

This comforter is even more beautiful than it looks in the photograph. It is well made and thick enough to where I do not need an extra blanket to stay warm. The gray and black really pop and has made a dramatic change in the way my bedroom looks.

Luxurious!

Excellent quality. Meets standards of luxury bedding. Soft yet durable material with high quality stitching. Highly recommend. Very good quality for price. Returned another cheaper set I found at Macy’s which felt like a sleeping bag. Recommend only searching for luxury bedding if quality is what you want.

LOVE LOVE LOVE

This is my first time buying a bolster, and I love the entire set! The pillows are beautiful. The entire set is elegant. Great quality. The color in the picture seems to have a purple hue, but it is grey.

Very ugly color… :-(

There are a lot more shiny tones in the pics. The material seems fancy enough but hardly any nice shiny tones. Mostly all black and just ugly. I had a maroon and gold one before, it was much nicer looking. I can’t return this because it’s a king size and Macys doesn’t have shopping carts. It’s too big and bulky to carry from my car into the store. 🙁

Just updated a guest bedroom with, fresh paint, new carpet and furniture. This set is lovely. Furniture has black pulls, so the design works with those. The accent grey is not as prominent as in picture, which would have been a preference, as we have a new pewter grey leather chair going in,

Latest bedding had the best price for bedding and free shipping. Macy's was $100 more for the same set. The bedding is high quality with nice fabric and stitching,

The comforter and pillows are really stunning! I also got the matching curtains. However, I wish the curtains were a lighter color but still matching the comforter. The dark curtains kinda overpower the room and just looks heavy. Still, the comforter and the pillows are awesome.....just wish I could find "lighter-colored-matching" curtains.
