The shed was so easy to assemble, we had it up in less than two hours. It is very well-built and does the job of storing our yard equipment over the winter months. The wood was beautiful and everything was predrilled making the directions super easy to follow. I will say, we were missing a couple of hardware items which we just purchased separately to be able to finish up but I am happy with the end result.

The build quality is OK but all the components are thin materials that are easily damaged. The shed is too short to be able to stand up and so big that any normal sized adult will need to be ducking the entire time you go in and out of the shed.

Good but tall people beware

I’m 6’3 and the door entry is much too small. The 72” dimension was taken from the back of the angled roof. I’ll have to send my wife in to retrieve tools. The only complaint is that the security latches are cheap and I’ll have to buy something more appropriate. Not a bad shed but it will be underneath our deck. Not sure I would get it if it was truly exposed to the weather.

I bought this shead to turn into a chicken coop. The sliding door was deal maker. Most of the prices were marked but some were missing the stamps or the letters were in the wrong order. Luckily the directions had the dementions of the lumber also. Definitely have someone to help the side walls were to heavy for one person. The hardest part was the roof. I guess moving the side from where we built them to the location knocked it out of square. A lot of the screws it came with broke so make sure you have some extra. The side sliding door has a large gap at the bottom that I'm going to have to seal, but overall a great shed.

My father in law and I took a day off work to assemble this shed, and we definitely needed all the time we had! Having some construction experience is highly encouraged. Instructions were mostly easy to follow and the materials we received were good quality. Glad we chose this shed.

The plywood and 2x4 etc. were mostly cut to size, about 95% of pieces. The nails were not the correct size and unfortunately, we did not figure that out right away. Setback! I like the design a lot.

Is there an option for zero stars? It was delivered smashed and broken w box falling apart. I did not let them take it off delivery truck and OVER A MONTH LATER am still trying to get the refund for it because no one is doing anything. Can’t even reorder and needed it back in April. 3rd frustrating experience with Home Depot. Customer service on the phone said “you can just get bank to call it fraud lots of people do that when it’s smashed.” i guess this happens all the time? It shouldn’t.

Not complete and a big job to build

This took three days for a professional handyman to build. That didn't bother me as much as the fact that it doesn't come with everything you need, nor does it tell you everything you need to purchase. Mine was also missing a piece that I have to write in for. As to the final build, it looks to be decent quality and will last a while. But this is no simple project to build. The instructions are 70+ pages long and its literally a ton of lumber and hardware. Don't buy unless you have framing gun.

This is a new and wonderful shed for me. It is quite solidly built and easy to assemble. I do wish the door latches were a bit more heavy duty but so far they work just fine.

Great Quality Shed

We just finished assembling and we're real happy with the finished product. It took 2 people about 3 hours to assemble, not including the time it took to prep the pad. Directions were easy to follow. Everything was clearly labeled and most pilot holes were pre-drilled. I'm going to add an RV gutter above the doors to channel rain. We're keeping it below our deck, so hopefully many years of use. We picked the product up at the store. It comes in 4 boxes, about 400 lbs total.

The build went really well. Instructions were easy to follow and nearly correct. Made a couple minor changes during assembly. My instructions had pages for opposite door positions if one chose to switch orientation. I used a framing nailer and 2 3/8" galvanized nails rather than the 2" nails provided. Highly recommend to use a pneumatic nailer or you're in for much hammering.

I bought this a month ago and had a local handyman assemble it. He noted that a J channel for the bottom of sliding door seemed to be missing, so he fashioned one out of a piece of roof flashing. Works great!

I purchased this in March through Home Depot after canceling an installation with Costco when I confirmed they were falsely advertising it had transom windows. I had arranged for someone to build the shed and put in the windows I needed. Ordered it in March and it was finally delivered to my house in June. The first delivery was in April and they delivered it to someone else's address. They then waited 2 weeks after I had immediately notified them I didn't receive it to get the other one but weren't able to retrieve it. I was told another 2 weeks to get it delivered but that didn't happen. I had to make all the calls to get this resolved. I had to call their corporate office several times since Backyard Products didn't answer their phone during business hours. After months of excuses I contacted Home Depot to deal with this 3rd party. After several weeks they finally delivered the shed. This was my third shed I had purchased from Backyard Products and second time through Home Depot. I will avoid buying anything from this company based upon this last frustrating and inexcusable customer treatment. It is no wonder Costco and Home Depot have started using an alternate source for sheds and installation. The sheds are reasonably priced for what you get but sadly overated for the customer service you are stuck with.
