Bought this exact rug for my living room 7 years ago. Freshened up my hall and wanted another one for the hall but with little hope of finding one but voilà looked on Wayfair and found it. Fantastic quality and price . This rug is absolutely beautiful and so happy to have found it. Rug has stayed lovely for 7 years and new one an exact match in both colour and quality. Quality rug

Didn't cut the mustard for me....

I purchased two different shapes of this rug for my new bedroom in pink. Rugs came separately, and didnt even come close to matching the pink color I ordered. I was going to live with the first one, although it was the 'dustier' color pink ( more like mauve or muddy beige) and the background was more gray than cream. I also noticed some minor flaws with threads, but still thought it might work. When the second one came, I knew both had to be returned. I was disappointed. The second rug (a runner) was very pretty and perfect color of pink and cream, that I originally preferred. Unfortunately, it had more flaws and dark stains...I only purchase safavieh brand and in all my years never saw inferior quality like this. I returned and Overstock was quite good about it. It took a while for my account to be credited, but was done fully by Overstock. I already ordered replacement rugs of a different kind, but still safavieh! Thank you, Overstock! Less

Dirty looking rug

I really wanted to love this rug. The photos online make it look so vibrant. In-person, the ivory edging and design color is extremely dirty looking. It's not an off-white at all, it is a very yellow/dirty color, which makes the rug look used. I stared at it for a few hours before deciding I couldn't get over it, and opted to return it.

AWFUL! Rug has been on floor 5 weeks and it sheds worse than an animal. I tried to do my therapy exercises on the floor but stopped because short pieces of rug fiber were all over my clothes. Dyson vacuum almost fills up with rug fiber every day when I vacuum it. AWFUL! I WOULD NEVER BUY THIS RUG AGAIN!! At the rate it’s shedding it will wear out quickly. I wish I could post a picture to show how much it sheds. TERRIBLE!!

One of my favorite rugs of all time!

This rug absolutely made my bonus room! I love the rug, but there are a few things to be aware of. #1. It is HEAVY!! I mean, you need a strong guy to carry this thing around. #2. It sheds like a mother! With time and multiple vacuumings, it has gotten better. But it still sheds some. #3. It comes in huge sizes for not huge prices! Also, when I unrolled it, I had some mystery stains on it. If hate to think it was a returned rug that I got. I cannot get the yellow stains out. Overstock offered to replace the rug, but when I say it's heavy, I am not kidding around. They ended up giving me about 10% off, so I opted to keep it just due to the overall hassle it would be to have to lay a new one out, etc. Would I buy it again? Heck yes!

Textured yet simple: Trudie is the perfect rug

The TRUDIE came into my office at just the right time. I ordered a rug from a different company, when it arrived, excitedly I opened it and instantly the whole house smelled like a wet goat. Not good. I hopped online and found Trudie - she arrived, she smelled great, she opened great, lied flat instantly, quality hooks and tufts and the color is spot on (in my photos the white looks tan - it is not tan). She looks like a million bucks - she amicably works with the other fabric in the room. She loves her sister rugs in adjacent rooms. The off white tufts are slightly higher than the hooks and add texture. She vacuums easily, feels great on bare feet. I use an office chair on her and she doesn't divot. What's not to love about Trudie?! I ordered the dusty blue in 9'x12' - she arrived on time. Sounds like she's the perfect gal - and she is! Less

Beautiful, thick rug but won't stop shedding

Update - had to return the rug as it just would not stop shedding and it was difficult to clean the fuzz off the lower brown sections of the rug. Do not recommend this rug! The rug is beautiful. I got the dark brown and the color is represented well in the photos. It does shed a lot...have vacuumed it several time and each time the vac canister is full of rug threads. The rug is also very thick which is nice. I thought I could live with the shedding but it is everywhere. Our black pants and socks are covered. It is in the air and settling all over our tables. It is tracking onto the other rugs in the house, especially the carpet on our stairs. So I am constantly vacuuming the stair. It's a great looking rug, but don't buy it unless you are ready to vacuum non-stop.

We received our rug expeditiously after ordering which was a pleasant surprise considering it was Christmas season. Once opened and laid out we couldn't be more happy! We're truly amazed with the quality & craftsmanship. It's a very plush & dense. The color is vibrant and beautiful. We have another wool rug the same size that we purchased for $1,800 15 years ago in 2003 and in all honesty this one is nicer. It's always a treat to purchase something that exceeds your expectations at a very good price. It's shedding a little bit but It has been my experience with a new wool rug to expect some shedding and with time it stops. If you want to add elegance to a room I highly recommend this rug. We love it!

I purchased this rug several years ago. This was my first purchase on Overstock, so I was a little nervous about purchasing an extremely large rug that would be difficult to return. I was pleasantly surprised! This rug is in our playroom/basement and it is perfect for little ones to play on. It is located in a fairly high traffic area, and has held up well over the years. I will say that I was not prepared for the shedding that occurs for the first few months of owning this rug. I felt like our clothes were constantly covered in wool. But, after some time and vacuuming, the shedding has faded and is very minimal. I loved this brand so much that I just purchased 3 more rugs!

Sheds a lot!!!!

This is a well made area rug. The border around the rug adds a very finished look. The rug is soft and adds quite a bit of comfort to our hardwood floors. The downside to this rug is the degree of shedding. We have vacuumed the rug multiple, multiple, multiple times and it still sheds little fibers. The rug should come with a lint remover because that is what we need after our son takes his daily roll on the rug! It sheds a lot! Hopefully the amount of shedding is reduced over time. ***2 WEEK UPDATE*** Warning: Do not purchase this rug unless you intend to constantly vacuum it and you have multiple lint brushes handy. The amount of shedding is dreadful! I hope it gets better in the next two weeks. The shedding also gives the rug a very dirty appearance. I may consider returning it, but returning it may be more of a hassle than the constant need for vacuuming. Less

Outstanding value for 100% wool

I could not believe when I found this rug, 100% wool at this size for this price. I mean, this is unheard of. I thought maybe it was labeled wrong, so I spoke with someone at Houzz who reassured me of the materials. I bought it right away. When it arrived, I can confirm it is 100% wool. No surprise backing glued on with toxic glues. It is soft on the feet and the texture of the design feels good too. One thing....it does smell like sheep. I know it is made of wool, so it makes sense, but I own other 100% wool rugs that did not have this odor upon arrival. I am not too worried about it yet, because I am sure it will air out, but just a heads up.
