Assembly was easy. Bottom shelf provides storage for extra pots, etc. Plants are flourishing.

[Rewarded Review] Excellent customer service, beautiful planter

A couple of the pieces had some deep scratches on them. The instructions indicated to contact Vita directly with any issues, which I did, and they sent replacement parts right away. The planter is beautiful and much larger (not only in width but in planting depth) than most others I had seen, so can be used for far more than herbs! Very pleased.

Love the design and functionality

It was fairly easy to put together, seems to be good quality and looks great. We haven’t filled it with anything yet. Looking forward to using it for tomatoes and lettuce.

It is a beautiful and quality raised garden bed. It’s well designed and should last forever. It matches nicely with the white vinyl railing on my deck. Instructions for assembly were clear but the last screws were difficult to screw in place. I am a 71 year old woman and assembled it myself although an extra set of hands would have been helpful in standing it up when partially assembled.

Nice looking but some assembly issue

Very nice product. Just a little modification need for assembly. You get a planter box with an add on kit. The problem lies when you assemble them in the middle to each other. They hit the metal bar in the very middle. My husband had to shave off some of the plastic so they wit fix together in that space. Once done it looks and functions nicely. I think this is only an issue in the larger box.

I am in love with this raised garden bed. It is elegant and sturdy and was not too difficult to put together. I did it myself in about 30 minutes. Very very happy with it!

Missing pieces. Couldn't assemble.

These planters are beautiful and they arrived several days before promised. They are as nice as they look in the picture and for the most part they were fairly easy to assemble, however, not all the holes were pre-drilled. They are very sturdy and should last a long time.

Excellent product, this is my second purchase of this great vegetable garden. The first one was purchased a few years ago and it looks brand new, a quick hose down and it looks nice. Now they are side by side. I highly recommend.

Exceptional product. Get a few!

We bought 4 of these. As we also do, “let’s see how the 1st one goes together and see if we need to return all 4”. Pleasantly surprised on the assembly! Our first one went slow of course out of caution and then the other three were done in record time. About 2 hours for all 4 (including pictures, and general goofing off). You’ll need a manual Phillips screwdriver for the shorter screws and optional is a power screw gun for the longer screws. We read an earlier review that said the screw holes for the screws didn’t line up (?). Don’t worry, these are self-tapping PVC screws; nothing to line up. Assembly (with photos): 1) Place one end flat on the ground, 2) dry fit the shelf and 2 sides and then 3) the other end on top. 4) Stand up carefully. 5) Center the bottom shelf, make sure the dry fit is square, and 6) start screwing it all together (Bottom, then top, then 7) middle brackets with the longer screws)! Instructions spelled it out perfectly. Excellent packaging by the manufacturer having the unit 80% assembled right out of the box! Final product is sturdy and ready for planting! Our only constructive criticism for the manufacturer… make the bottoms of the posts a solid material for mounting casters. We’re going to figure out a way to get wood inserts up in there to support casters. Others have posted their finished units so we’re not doing that but enjoy the pics we shared for a quick idea on assembly.

Did not live up to expectations

Very surprised it came from China! Shipping container was damaged on one corner, resulting in one cracked part. Replacement was not available. Pieces did not fit completely and is still crooked.

Wait no longer. Order this one!

This planter is absolutely beautiful. I purchased two of them, but assembled one just is case I wanted to return them. Needless to say, a few days later the second one was assembled. They sit on either side of my newly built screened porch door. It is sturdy, and looks like it will last for years. I couldn't be happier.
