Tahoe 16 series 20 Plus Years

I have now used my Tahoe 16 for over 20 plus years now. When I'm not camping I use this at my house as this has outlasted gas BBQ that I have owned in the past. I like all the attachments you can get for this unit. I have the 2-burner BBQ grill and single burner flat top. So versatile.

Camp Chef Tahoe 16" x 38" camp cooker *****

I wanted this Camp Chef Tahoe 16" x 38" cooker for canning with my 7 quart pressure cooker canner. It hold two of them and is very sturdy and did great canning beans. I also cooked my soup to can on two eyes and it cooked great. I would highly recommend this grill if you need one to do your canning on. I also cooked french fries on it and they were great!

Expedtion 3 burner stove excellent stove

I bought this stove back a few years ago and let it set in my storage for two years before i finally had the time to use this stove at elk camp.It is a learning curve but i woulnt have any other stove. When i first turn it on. i run it on high until the grill is starting to get hot then i adjust heat to low to medium setting. i usually do bacon, hash browns and easy over eggs. Eggs and pancakes are a little bit tricky as this grill maintaines the heat. Put a gallon of coffee on and this thing is perking in no time. i usuallly cook for 3 to 4 guys so this does the job. i run this stove off my rv piping so i have to watch when firing up for the first time the opd valve on propane tanks sometimes locks out, but if you slowly open up burners it works just fine. as someone mentioned regarding position of griddle it doesnt fit on burner rack quite right so i welded a small piece of flat stock so griddle fits on all four corners just right. Other than that this stove is a dream to use. looking to buy the bds60 some day.

Just set up and toyed around with my new Tahoe. Far exceeds expectations. So well constructed with thoughtful hangars for cooking tools. WELL DONE CAMPCHEF!!!!!

Purchase from another place than Dicks

They screwed my order not once but twice and took almost three weeks for my credit and my gift cards back. They have no mgrs only supervisors and they are horrible. No people skills, nor do they seem to have any education when it comes to customer service. The worse experiences i have dealt with.

Best camp stove for the money.

Exactly what I needed to do some canning in the summer. Sturdy enough to handle a 23qt pressure canner on one burner while making jams on the others. I'll be getting the flat griddle they make for this stove to improve heat distribution while protecting my pots from burn marks.

I'm in the middle.

I am pleased with how sturdy the tahoe is and the power of the burners however, only one of the three lighters actually spark. Also the ignition knob is a bit clunky, there are better options on other propane systems.

Camp Stove

The Camp Chef Tahoe Three-Burner Stove seems to be well built. Very Happy with the Workmanship. I haven’t cooked on it yet, but I’m sure there won’t be any problems. Glad I purchased it from Tractor Supply Co. in Amsterdam. Love the Company.

Opening box and reviewing all.

Quality control should check closer before packing up. The damper on middle burner was pushed all the way to right, you couldn’t even see it. This caused to much yellow flame. Had to use screwdriver to pry handle back down to control damper. Also middle knob was broken, company is sending us new knob. But this will be enjoyed.

Highly recommend

We primarily use the stove for canning. It fits 2 water bath canners and a 14 qt stock pot at the same time. The burners bring the canners up to boil quickly and keep a consistent temperature during canning. Easy set up and worked great.

Three burner stove

Great stove for outdoor cooking and camping. For the price though, you would think they could give you a storage bag or cover to protect it.

Camp Chief Tahoe

I’m using for canning. It meets my needs. Though if you’re using for pressure canning it needs to be outside and must be protected from the wind. Or you’re constantly relighting.
