Exact same texture as a cat’s scratching post. Feels like walking on a doormat. I actually had to double check that it wasn’t meant to be an outdoor rug (it’s not) because I can’t imagine wanting to stand on this barefoot. Other than that, the colors are much more saturated than the pictures. Doesn’t look bad, but not what you’re expecting.

the packaging was a bit beat up by the time it arrived, but the rug was in good shape. The colors are accurate with product pics, in particular the close up tile. we are pretty happy with it. the quality seems like it will be long lasting. it has a rough texture. Adding a thick rug pad made it better.
