I purchased the same rug elsewhere and bought this 2nd to match. This rug is thicker and has more dimension than the 1st and is perfect for my Cape style room.

Ouch!

I really had my hopes set high for this rug for a guest room. From the picture it looks like a nice light beige/tan with a fine white stripe every few inches. In reality, there is a strong contrast in both pile height and color. It almost hurts your feet to walk on, and then it really hurts when you step on a sharp piece of... jute? Scattered throughout are these very hard pieces (maybe the ends of jute), and they’re painful to step on. I seriously considered returning, but it’s such a difficult process to haul it downstairs, wrap it, and get it to the store for pick-up. And then it costs $43+ for return shipping. So, my solution was to flip it over and use the other side, which has the creamy white every other row. It’s not what I wanted, but it’s softer.
