The size is smaller than expected.

I measured the old sink and chose the exact same size. However, this sink is not perfectly rectangular; it's a little curved. So, if you measure from corner to corner, it's not the size the specification sheet says. The size on the specification sheet is from the middle part to the middle part. When the contractor took out the old sink and dropped it in this sink, the difference was obvious because the corner parts didn't cover the hole. Basically, we had to apply lots of caulking to cover the holes. We don't think the skin falls since the middle parts are longer than the hole, but it wasn't expected. Lastly, this is not about the sink, but the shipping carrier was very bad. This is an item weighing over 100 lb. They put a bulky wood foundation under the box when it was delivered. I asked the carrier to take back the big wooden foundation with them because we didn't know what to do with it; we only wanted the sink we had ordered. But the carrier was stubborn not to take it back with them and told me to complain to build.com. That's why I'm noting it here.

I bought this and it has been installed for only two weeks. Put a protection mat at the bottom and we have been very careful about sitting dishes in the sink. Pull my mat up to clean and there is a huge crack and chips along the bottom!!! Something that would make you think something was thrown inside the sink which I know did not happen. Checked my mugs, and everything else was plastic so...I am so upset, my kitchen remodel was finally done and I was so excited to to everything come together and the sink looked fantastic. Now I have to deal with this...

Be careful about the shape of the sides

The sink is gorgeous and would be a 5. The tricky part was that it was not clear that the measurements of the sides change since it is curved. I had to reinforce the sink with wood and use chalking. The sink replaced an old one, so I had shopped for a sink with particular measurements. It is very beautiful! I love it now that it is reinforced.

We love it. Delivery was a little lengthy and remodel was put on hold waiting for this sink but ultimately worth it. Perfect condition, no issues at all. It is just gorgeous. Our plumber had no problems installing it. We are very happy with our choice and using Wayfair. We couldnt find a cast iron sink, single bowel, drop in at any brick and mortar stores. This is exactly what we wanted. Thank you Wayfair.

Absolutely perfect. I love this sink. I don't like stainless steel it always looks dirty. I don't like under mount sinks for similar reasons (the caulking always looks gross). I really like that it isn't divided either.

Super Sink

SOO ... the waterline to our dishwasher broke and flooded our kitchen, and water destroyed our cabinets and flooring. Being that the kitchen was 20 years old, we made the decision to do a complete remodel. The one thing on my must-have list was a white cast iron sink. I found the Kohler Cape Dory and it checked all the boxes! I ordered it and it was delivered safe and sound! It looks SO awesome installed! I just love it!

Not as advertised

Ordered a Kohler 22 X 33 inch porcelain kitchen sink to replace a Kohler 22X33 inch SS sink. The sink was not 22 X 33. The sides sloped inward by more than an inch causing it to be too small for the opening. I was told I would have to pay a $150.00 return fee. I will not pay that fee because the dimensions where not as advertised.

Got this for a Farmhouse Style kitchen Remodel. I had a wooden countertop built and this is the centerpiece of the kitchen. It looks beautiful with the Delta Bronze faucet that I also purchased from Wayfair.
