Well made, looks great

Overall a great, simply designed double curtain rod. Comes with all the needed hardware and screws, too. Looks nice, metal rods and support brackets, fairly easy to install. The finials are plastic, though painted the same color as the metal rods/brackets, so you can't tell unless you take them off the rods. Overall great value for the price.

Love this rod! I didn't know double rods were even a thing, but it's exactly what I needed and works great. Easy set up. The small screws that keep the rod from shifting off don't hold great, but that might be user error. I ended up using some black electrician's tape to keep the extended rod from slipping out lengthwise. Quality is excellent. would definitely purchase again.

I purchased these curtain rods back in late 2016 in silver and recently repurchased them in black. I loved the moderntransitional look of them and wanted to redecorate. The quality of the rods has certainly gone down. The dowel itself is smaller in diameter and the end caps, which were originally metal, are now a cheap plastic. They are also smaller in size. So while I still love the look of them, I am disappointed in the quality.

Nice rods, but has some issues.

These rods look good and feel solid. Installation of the brackets to the wall was typical - take your time, find the studs and use a long level or string level to get pro-results. The issue I ran into is some of set screws in the brackets are almost too low to properly secure the rod. As you tighten them, some of the screws tended to push the rod up out of the bracket. No way around it other than to get creative. Definately a quality control issue.

Looks great and easy to install

Our old curtain rail was rusting and looked out of place. We purchased this curtain rail as looked great and had easy to follow instructions. Watched the video a couple of times and we were all set to go. Finished product looks so much better than what we had before. The extendable rod means we can have as much or as little over hang as we want. Would definitely recommend.

Personal experience, newly put up, very favorable.

My personal experience is that it was shipped in a timely manner. I see the original price has dropped significantly. I like the design, all parts were included. It is a great improvement from the rod I had up there as there are 3 support hangers included. The closed design of the hangers does not bother me personally. The rod compliments our new curtains which were a disappointment. This rod met and exceeded my expectations at this time. We just put it up a couple of days ago. It is being used in our living room which is not a high humidity room, mentioning that as I saw problem with rusting by someone who used it in their bathroom. My personal experience with this transaction in all honesty thus far is highly favorable. Sturdy, looks nice and installation was no big deal.

The black rods are nice BUT… sized too long.

I bought the 72-144” matte black rods. The rods are initially nice looking, but they have scratches all over them especially the inner telescoping rod. But the biggest issue is not even the scratches. My window is 76”, and I had planned on extending the rod out 8-10” on each side so I needed a no bigger than 96” rod, give it take an inch for wiggle room, but no more than that. The specifications for the rods on JCP website do not even mention that the kit comes with 3 rods: 2 1” rods, plus an inner 7/8” rod. The only reason why I knew it came with the inner rod was because another customer mentioned it in their review. I thought, that’s awesome, it will help give structure inside to prevent sag! Nowhere in the specifications does it mention the length of each rod in the 72-144” kit or how it’s assembled to adjust the size. I ASSUMED wrongly, that each rod would probably be about 48” in length, but each rod is 50 1/8” L. Unfortunately, due to them being 501/8”, I am unable to use the 2 1” diameter rods. Instead, end to end the 1” diameter rods are 100 1/4”. I’d have to instead use one 1” diameter rod, and the 7/8” inner rod telescoping inside the 1”, and the difference in size between the two rods is too noticeable. I haven’t decided yet whether I’ll return, or if I’ll have my hubby cut the two 1” diameter rods so they can slip over the inner 7/8” rod, so that the two 1” rods kiss each other end to end. The other issue is, even if they were all a useable length for me, there’s no way to lock the rods to prevent telescoping movement e dry time curtains are removed or put onto the rods and wild need to be readjusted every single time. Unless there was a ring part that is missing in my kit? The bracket with screw adjustment isn’t going to prevent the rods from telescoping. Please JCP, add more info to your specs on website so everyone knows it’s 3 rods, and if you need a rod to be 72”-99”, you will not be able to use the two 1”diameter rods end to end.

Worked well for our heavy cloth curtains and sheers, however the rods were a little too close together and they drag the sheersvise versa when opening and closing

These real hold the weight of drapes and sheers. Plus, the length is great to fit across 2 windows to make it look like 1.
