Good product for the money

The desk is easy to assemble as long as you follow the instructions step by step. Don't try to short cut because you will miss something and have to disassemble to get everything right. Otherwise its a sturdy result. The only thing I dislike are the very sharp corner edges along the entire perimeter of the top along with the sharp corners.

Nice product, not so great materials

Once it's all put together it is a solid desk. However, there were many damaged parts and pieces upon opening the box, pictures included. Most of them may not have been that big of a deal, but the desk top has a damaged corner in the front, right where in front of my chair.

Very nice product

I bought this desk for our new home. When it came the package was a mess and 2 of the pieces were damaged. I contacted Sauder and they replaced the parts. The lady I talked to was very nice and helpful and the parts arrived in 2 days. I would highly recommend this product. It is a beautiful piece of furniture. Thank you Sauder.

Great desk!

Love the color. It arrived with a damaged top and sauder sent a replacement that was very well packaged. Assembly went together well took almost 5 hours

I like this desk. It turned out nice. Only issues was that it was a lot to put together. A lot of pieces. And I wish it was a little longer but beside that it’s a nice overall desk

Bought 2, Great Desk, Fits our space very well.

Two Big issues. good thing I bought two because the instructions on the first I assembled was missing the middle pages completely (pgs 17 thru 32). Packaging was totally inadequate for it's size and weight. Packages were delivered standing up on the short edge and had settled, bluging the cardboard box allowing contents to settle. Damaging several pieces.

The perfect project for Mechanical Engineers with PhD's

To cut costs, Sauder elected not to label all parts identified in the Assembly Manual. Buyer's are to use parts that are marked to help identify similar parts. With nearly 250 parts, this exceeds idiocracy. Management should be required to pull a random packaged unit (not one specially prepared) and required to assembly it in 4 hours or less. This is a half of a traditional work day. I'm at 90 minutes and just finished sorting through the parts. If all of this is not enough, the bottom of a desk drawer is noticeably damaged but Sauder evidently ships their waste and hopes the consumer will make it work.

This desk is a nice looking peice of furniture with the metal accents, The drawers are ok however I wish they had an option for two regular drawers instead of a file drawer.

Very attractive desk with lots of storage space

This attractive desk has plenty of storage. A sturdy and handsome desk. Easy instructions. Build took around 4 hours. Unfortunately, one had slight damage to the tabletop during shipping.

Just what I wanted

In step 4, the black 7/8" machine screws should be 1/8" longer. In one case, I had to search through my stash of leftover hardware to find a 1" machine screw with the same thread because the one you provided would not make the connection. Otherwise, everything assembled perfectly.

The colors are beautiful

Love the style of the desk. The colors match a lot of bed sets goes perfect with my house.

Slightly complicated to build. Must check for damage pcs. However if you are able to build it the pc is stunning.

Nice Desk!

Decent quality for price. Self-build instructions pretty darn good, which is not always the case.

Good desk but damaged in shipment.

Design of the desk is good. It went together well. Mine had some external packaging damage when received. Serious damage to the desktop was not discovered until partway through assembly.

Office desk

This desk was an easy buy at AFW since we had purchased items there before. Plenty of help on the sales floor and we completed the purchase quickly once we found the desk. We liked it because the color of the wood matched our interior space and the size was perfect as space in our office area was limited. The desk was loaded in my SUV with the help from the warehouse personnel. It was a single box since the desk requires customer assembly. The pieces are manufactured in the U.S. so the instructions were clear, thorough, and contained excellent diagrams. It took me about 6 hours to complete but the pre-drilled holes were exact and the hardware was packaged by size and type as well as labeled. It went very well and only a Philips screwdriver and pliers were needed. Looks good in the office now.

I called a Wayfair rep - Terri - on the 29th May becasue the package is too damaged and have no intentions of opening the box to see if the desk is damaged. I would never be able to get it back in. I was told that I would hear from the company in two days to arrange for FedEx pickup. I have not yet heard anything further. The package is blocking my exist out of my condo. I really want it removed. I have already submitted photos of the damaaged box. Waiting for reply and action , please. Sincerely Elaine

Nice product

The desk is sturdy and should be fine for the limited use. Put about 3 hours aside to put the desk together. Have a vacuum ready when opening the box. Polystyrene beads everywhere. Packing had a lot to be desired.
