Fixed my drip problem!

The cartridge was easy to replace and stopped the leak we had through the faucet.

Perfect fit, easy to install. Time will tell how well it is made.

Would have given five stars had the directions to switch from hot to cold were included.

Don't get aftermarket. Get this OEM

It worked perfectly and hopefully will last. I had tried a Dayco aftermarket cartridge first. Two of them actually. The first one started leaking in a few months so I got another thinking the first bad one may have been a fluke. Nope. The second one only lasted a couple of days. My advice is to don't waste your time with aftermarket. Get this instead.

Perfect replacement...however...to convert the valve to operate in the opposite direction, i.e. (Hot vs Cold), there should be instructions included to indicate removing the spring clip and rotating the operating post to get reverse closure.

The package didn't indicate if the cartridge is for the left or right handle. No, you can't use the same one for hot or cold when they're supposed to turn in to be on and out to be off.

This American Standard cartridge was perfect and very easy to swap out.

Easy replacement took about 10 minutes.

Easy to install but it would have been nice to know that it was reversible (hot/cold) in the initial description.

The cartridge was designed for the American Standard faucet and works perfectly as a replacement. However the installation instructions with my purchase were inadequate. No where are you told that the cartridges are reversible and come in the hot mode. Also, nothing tells you how to reverse one to the cold mode. I had to go to UTube to find out how to reverse one cartridge to cold. Once done, it worked perfectly.
