Buyer Beware. Knock Off Flatware.
Like another reviewer, I was sent a knock off (fake) product. The flatware I received was in a real Mepra box with the same wrap like the real Made in Italy flatware, but the contents were a Made in China CAMBRIDGE knock off. Shame on Saks for not investigating the product after the first concerning review.
Flatware review
Very fancy, good for special occasion.
Two (2) of the (8) 5-piece sets are the incorrect product.
It was extremely disappointing to open two of the eight boxes and discover that the two 5-piece sets are totally different. The two 5-piece sets are NOT Casablanca, made in Italy, but Cambridge, made in China. It nearly brought tears to me eyes to discover that someone placed the incorrect product in the Casablanca, made in Italy box. I have no indication as yet whether or not Saks Fifth Avenue can find the additional two sets that we need. I have high regards for Saks Fifth Avenue; I am hoping that you will resolve this extremely disappointing situation.
