Chairs are hard and the back Is too straight. Otherwise great construction and appearance.

I love this set. It is the second one I have had over the years. I'm so glad I was able to find it!

Overall very pleased. The set looks as good in real life as it does in the online pictures. The chairs and table appear to be sturdy and should last. Assembly was easier than expected. Instructions were clearer than a lot of "assembly required" furniture. Didn't need extra fasteners but inclusion of a few more could have been helpful. I've done a lot of furniture assembly and a few extra bolts and screws, probably $2.00 worth, have often saved a trip to Home Depot. The visible wood looks good. The underside of the chairs looks a bit tacky, but obviously that's not visible. Shipping was more than adequate, although the surcharge--which we didn't use--to put the boxes into the house was kind of absurd.

BEYOND HAPPILY SATISFIEID

I was skeptical (about buying something this big online) but was desperate to find exactly what I NEEDED. I am absolutely thrilled with what I found, the quality of the pieces, the ease of purchase, and the communication with this company, and I'm telling everyone!! NOW... back to searching for other items I NEED

gap in table top.

I ordered this Dinning set & rec'd it in (4) weeks. The table has an 1/8" gap on both sides even if the leaf is installed.

Poor Quality and Poor Customer Service

The table is not sturdy at all and just the slightest touch it shakes and spills your coffee, soda, kool-aid or whatever drink you might have on setting on your table..I have called Overstock to try to resolve this issue and referred me to the company that I took out a Warranty on the dining room furniture with Guardsmans Warranty and they told me that I needed to get back with Overstock because it wasn't going to covered by them.. So I don't recommend buying this dining room furniture, doesn't seem like it is a good company to deal with, I have been trying to resolve this problem for more than 5 months now.. Very flimsy table!! Poor Customer Service..

High quality furniture

Everything came as expected no problems all parts and pieces were there put it together in about an hour and a half very high quality very good I'm very pleased

The right table for my space

If you're looking for a high end table this isn't exactly what you need. For what I need it works well. There isn't a lot of instruction on how to assemble but it wasn't too difficult to figure out. It's best to have two people but could be managed on your own if needed. The wood color I thought was more cherry but it's a warm oak. The fabric is nice and as pictured. The chairs are a bit firm but roomy and the casters work well. Overall I'm pleased. Delivery was on time and well packaged.

The set is very pretty and well constructed, but the chairs are much harder than expected. When delivered, they forgot to enclose the 16 self tapping screws. It took a few days, but we did receive them.

Absolutely beautiful, comfortable, easy to put together. Received quickly. Greatcommunication thruenitire process.

I bought this set because the set I have had for 25 years, the chairs were beginning to fail. Several weak points in how the arms are attached. These chairs are put together much better. So much so that I want to buy two more chairs, and give away the old ones that still work.
