I love these chairs i get compliments about them all the time. I hav owned these chairs since Sep 2020 and i have no complaints so far. They are durable and comfortable and look great however some reviews mentioned that they get scratched easily and that’s true they do but still it’s not that obvious and doesn’t bother me and if it did i will just get something from Home Depot to cover it but I won’t give up these chairs. And by the way i don’t have any kids it’s only me and my husband so I wouldn’t know if there will be more damage with kids but we do have a lot of guests that have kids and it still look like it’s new.

I had to get additional washers and screws to attach the seat. Aside from that inconvenience, it was fairly simple to put together. Follow instructions on tightness of screws. Save tightening for the end so you can maintain balance or evenness of each side. It’s lighter than expected but love everything else about it.

Very cute stools. Perfect Walnut vineer. Assembly is straight forward. If the legs are uneven after assembly, there are adjustable screws on all legs which you can use to level the stool. The wood is very susceptible to scratches while swiveling and hitting the counter but they can be easily avoided by sticking a baby proofing tape on edges.

Scratches very very easily

The quality is not good when it comes to durability. One chair arrived with many of the pieces scratched. Then, Overstock offered me a small discount to keep them. I should have returned them when I could because that was just the tip of the iceberg - they scratch extremely easily. I had to buy a foam covering for the edge of my counter because they scratch so easily.

Love! These were easy to assemble and are just as pictured online. The only thing is I think the assembly instructions are confused they call for 4 H pieces per chair but the kit only includes 2 1 extra per chair. I was still able to assemble using the additional F pieces. In any case, I’d still purchase again.

These stools are EXCELLENT!!! VERY sturdy and easy to assemble. Arrived in a timely fashion and completely undamaged. My only disappointment is that I ordered the upholstery to be in the CREAM color and they sent me BROWN. That's why I had to deduct stars. Does not create the light look I wanted, but I didn't have any seating, so I had to keep them because I needed chairs, plus too huge of a package to rebox and send back after I opened it and realized the error. :(

Excellent Carson Carrington Alingsas Counter Stool

Got these 2 counter stools for my Mother and she loves them! It is the perfect height for the counter and the best part is the stool swivels so it makes it easy to sit and get up without having to move the stool. The legs have screw in and out pegs so if your floor is uneven, the pegs can be adjusted to make the stool level with the floor. Also, the legs have a bar around the legs so a person's feet can have a place to rest if the feet are unable to touch the floor.

These are gorgeous. Well packed for shipment. Easy to assemble. I really love the two tone legs, with the chrome ring. I have an open concept kitchen that leads to a modern living room. The stools blend the two spaces so well. As reported they do scratch easy (see photos after 3 days), but I'm just gonna go with the scratches adding character because the chairs are too cute and comfy. Also of note the two tones on the legs are a lot more subtle than the picture.

Classy, Sleek,Functional and comfortable

I bought the counter height barstools, their height is perfect. I have young children and didn't want to buy the adjustable stools with the lever for safety reasons. This stool perfectly fit the bill in looks and functionality. The stool, more like a chair, is very comfortable. The seat is wide and deep, the cherry wood color with off-white seat looks very classy and elegant. Also worth noting is that the stool swivels very easily when you're sitting on it, but when u're not, then it is hard to swivel. I find that very useful especially if you have young children who like swiveling the stools till the back has marks from hitting the counter top. The stool back height is mid level, making the stool look sleek and not too bulky and providing decent support at the same time. It is very easy to assemble. I've had the stools for a week and love them.
