I received my gazebo only 3 days after placing the order.

Solidly Made Structure

I had someone put it together for me. It took two days. It is beautifully made. Cedar posts and an aluminum roof. The netting is heavy duty with heavy duty zippers.

Laborious to Assemble

The gazebo is well-made, goes together precisely, and has clear instructions. All of the hardware and fasteners are included. The kit comes in three heavy boxes. It is relatively easy to transport in a pickup truck. As other commentators have said, it is time-consuming to remove the plastic covering on the metal panels used for the roof. Make sure that you are working on a level surface. I built ours on concrete piers that I set in grass. The centers of the posts form a square 8'9". So place your piers accordingly. I used 3/8" Tapcon bolts to fasten the posts to the concrete piers. It's annoying to be instructed that 4 persons are required for assembly. It's hard to coordinate helpers. The posts can be held up during assembly with braces and quick clamps. One person can do it. A single person assembly of the roof panels is tricky. I set up some temporary rafters and a center support. The roof panels are awkward but not extremely heavy. The fasteners use Robertson tips. One is provided. The insect screen slides need a bit of lubrication to make installation easier. The end result is charming and of good quality. But it does take a bit of work. Perhaps suitable for an advanced DIYer or a professional installer

Very Pleased

I was expecting missing and broken parts, horrible instructions, and difficult assembly but got none of that. I didn't even swear during the assembly process! It was actually very easy to assemble and required zero modifications. I'd suggest reading the directions COMPLETELY before starting as you can save yourself a lot of time setting up an assembly line. One person can complete all the subassemblies in a couple days. Instructions said 4 people required for final assembly but me and wifey did it just fine. TBD how well it holds up, but so far, I was very pleased with the purchase.

You can't go wrong!! It's AMAZING!!

I was a little bit nervous about this purchase because it suggests you need four people for assembly and it was just going to be my husband and myself. Would I recommend a third person? Absolutely, for putting the roof panels on but it can be done with two. The instructions were amazing, I would also recommend watching the Yardistry video for assembling this gazebo. I was highly impressed with the quality of the product and would buy again in a heartbeat!

Nice Gazebo, horrible roof

Beautiful looking Gazebo definitely hours and hours to put together. Worse part is the roofing as described in other comments the plastic on each roofing piece front and back is horrible. Can't believe they did that, they had it tightly together in the packaging. Couldn't they just do the top one? It took up over 4 hours and painfully staking to pull off the plastic on each piece little at a time, and I agree with other comments in a lot of areas it left a sticky residue on the roofing that will not come off. It went together nicely, up to the point when you get to the roofing part. Big let down at the end.

Plastic coating

So we are half way thru getting this set up and columns are great, but the reason why only a 3 star is because of the plastic coating. Why??? It took my husband and myself over 4 hours to peal each side off.. not only that but the coating actually melted ( if you can imagine) to the sides since we stored the boxes in our garage. Needless to say the plastic made horrible patches of glue like substance marks that we can't get off. We tried alcohol and nail polish removal but to avail.

Backyard Oasis with Yatdistry

We bought this pavilion one year ago, and we are so pleased with it. It was easy to assemble with help from friends and it has provided us a great gathering place for friends and family to get together. We added the privacy wall and the bar counter and both are high-quality. We just installed the gutter system from yard history and it matches beautifully. I would highly recommend!

Advanced Skills Needed

This gazebo is absolutely beautiful when finished which is what most of my rating is based on. However, it was anything but easy to assemble. My husband is a carpenter and if not for some of his advanced problem solving skills, the gazebo would still be in pieces. Holes didn't line up, wooden pieces at the bottom of columns were way off and needed to be adjusted, we had to use clamps to get the roof assembled - not listed in the directions.

I have an existing pergola and now have a matching

We have a seventh floor garden in our urban condominium which is a defining feature. Well made, well thought out, quality gazebo kit

I built the 12X14 Meridian to cover our back patio. Putting it together requires basic - intermediate skills but the instructions are well written, and the wood cuts / holes are spot on - it came together very nicely. All the hardware is included. I did seal the main posts and edging prior to assembly to give those pieces some extra protection. It does require at least 3 able-bodied persons to get the roof panels on - they are surprisingly light but awkward to maneuver. I added the gutter kit which is fairly easy to install and does a great job of channeling the rain into the landscaping. And finally, I added a plug-in outdoor ceiling fan and light with additional plugs for phone chargers - all outdoor extension cords and cord covers. My wife was in charge of furnishings and decorations. Overall, I am thrilled with the results and a huge fun of Yardistry products.

Build went as expected....until it didn't

We had the manpower. Everyone watched the 'helpful hints' videos on line. We had all of the cedar components built in a couple of hours. No issues. Until we started to installing the aluminum roof panels. Dead stop. It took us 4 hours to peel the plastic film off. A ridiculous amount of time. Yardistry will respond that the plastic film is there to protect the panels. My response: Find a better way. The ridge caps, roof ridge track sections and roof trim sections all peeled easily. The panels, not so much. It was like a kind of torture! Lol. Also, look for parts inside the main posts, they're hollow and we had some inventory hidden in there. A solid product, well packaged, well designed. Could have done without the plastic film drama.

The perfect look

We wanted a structure that was reasonably priced and provided shelter from the elements when grilling. After receiving bids from custom builders in that started around $13,000, we were about to give up. Then we found Yardistry! At roughly $3,000 for the gazebo and two accessories: a “privacy wall” to block the wind and a counter for conversation; this was the perfect gazebo for us. It looks custom made and is perfect in the space. Thank you Yardistry!

Good Engineering, Excellent Quality

We ordered and erected the 10x10 Meridian Gazebo over the last week and I would like to compliment Yardistry on the quality of the product. The engineered design was very thoughtful and thorough; I am impressed with how well everything fit together and how relatively easy it was to assemble. The materials were of apparently excellent quality; given that this is a natural wood product, some minor deficiencies are to be expected, but they were very few in number and essentially imperceptible. My only quibble would be to repeat what others have commented on regarding the plastic film applied to the roofing panels; very time-consuming and annoying to remove. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase; 5 stars.

Classy

I installed this product for a client. I was very impressed with the quality and engineering of the product. Two experienced men can easily install this in two days. The worst part was removing the plastic from the roof panels. The roof fit together perfectly. There were a couple warped boards but that was a minor issue. The screens were very nice and installed in no time. Overall a great addition to the home and very classy look.

Great Gazebo with a great finish!

Great Gazebo. The finish is excellent, the instructions are "reasonably" clear (do be sure to go through them once fully before starting).

We are absolutely in love with our gazebo. We purchased from Homedepot.ca, it came within 2 or 3 days, some of the boxes came pretty scratched up and had footprints all over them, but where the wood was wrecked wasn't on the visible areas thankfully. The gazebo is very sturdy - we mounted ours into the cement. It took my husband and two other men, about 4 hours to put it up - the used 3 ladders. I was happy to know it came with a hook to hang a gazebo light as well. Overall it looks great, it's very inviting and made our backyard vision come to life. Hoping it withstands our winters here in Alberta.

High Quality Cedar / Aluminum Gazebo.

I originally ordered one unit. These are very well constructed and “easy” to assemble. Just take your time. The cedar components are solid and cut to exact measure. No difficulty at all in joining the pieces. It took about 6 hours to preassemble and then 4 hours for my wife and I to compete the build on our deck. Even though the cedar will weather nicely and has a light pretreatment we also used a Semi Transparent Behr premium stain to ensure no issues years to come. We were so pleased with the quality we just purchased a second unit and it’s been completed and installed as well. Adding an brown aluminum gutter to finish it off!

Great Gazebo for the backyaerd

We live in central California which can get hot in the summer time. About 5 years age we puchased a home with a small padio but needed more covered area in the backyard. Our gardener suggested a gazebo to increase coverage. We purchased a 12x14 Meridian Gazebo that the gardening company installed for us.

Great construction!

We bought this in the fall of 2022 but just have finished building and love it!! This was purchased through our local Costco store. The instructions were easy to follow and the kit is constructed very well. No issues building or setting up. In addition we bought the add on bar table that also fit perfectly. I wish this was a bit wider but it is as described. This is located at our seasonal campground site in Saskatchewan. We can't wait to make many family memories for years to come. No regrets on this purchase and will be buying more products from this company.
