[Rewarded Review] My Beautiful Desk

Fantastic! Desk arrived in 2 days. The top section came assembled so I only had to attach the legs. I love the design and how it fits into my house. Incredible value for a big desk with 3 drawers.

The desk has a large scrape going across the top, will reach out to overstock once all the pieces are open to see the different issues. The pieces are nice but definitely not white, they are more of a dirty grey. I don’t recommend if you have light grey walls.

"Formaldehyde (gas) known to cause cancer"

I assiduously sought to avoid MDF particleboard in searching online for a desk, because of the carcinogenic dangers associated with the urea-formaldehyde glue and its fumes. When I selected this Baton Rouge Desk -- unlike other products I saw -- it did not indicate this danger. Under "materials," it said "Wood Product." I should have seen a red flag in that ambiguous statement, since once I received the desk and was assembling it I saw the attached tag on the underside of the drawer: "This product can expose you to chemicals, including formaldehyde (gas), which is known to the State of California to cause cancer."

Beautiful writing desk

Beautiful and compact, fits in my home office quite nicely. Drawers are a bit stiff and hard to open (doesn't slide easily) however. Not a major issue, and does not impact the overall quality and enjoyment of the desk.

Desk continued to give off a chemical smell which gave me a headache. Had to be removed from the house.

Desk continues to smell and has a toxic overtone. It has a carcinogen warning message underneath one of the draws.

Nice desk

Desk is sturdy and looks nice in office. The grey color is quite light. Was relatively easy to put together. It took two of us about an hour to assemble.

It was inexpensive and looks expensive the drawers are a little shallow but that is all really a great buy!

Just to good and feels nice to the touch-wood

I love solid wood but also I need my furniture to look elegant and beautiful but also so do the work is supposed to be for. This piece is so beautiful and elegant that I probably will buy a second piece in the future. Even my son loves it but I am not giving it to him. Maybe for his birthday so he can play games! lol

Beautiful desk! Lots of space! It’s exactly what I expected, and easy to put together. I took off one star because on the left side it’s chipping. I took a dark wood marker and filled in so it wouldn’t be as obvious! I’ve included a picture of the chipping

I’ve gotten so many compliments in this desk. Very high quality. I love the textured woodgrain. It’s a good size and just enough storage. Assembly was simple.

Nice Desk

This is a nice desk and I was very pleased with it. It was easy to put together and it works well. I would recommend this to a friend and if needed too, I would buy again.
