I bought this rug in size 6'x9' for my outside balcony and it looks fabulous! The balcony otherwise has a rough concrete floor which, when walking around barefoot, is extremely uncomfortable. Even though the rug is one color, it doesn't appear to be monochromatic because of it's subtle design texture. Parts of the design are raised which creates this welcome appearance giving the space just enough contrast. It is light and made very well! I did purchase a 5'x8' rug pad to go beneath the rug for additional cushioning under foot, but it's not necessarily something one would actually need.
