It’s not as well made as I had expected. For it to be labeled “heavy duty” I expected the cabinet to be made of a heavier gauge of steel.

I have purchase the Sandusky Freestanding Garage Cabinet from Home Depot three times now and each time the product was severely damaged. I am not sure if the damage is caused by Home Depot handling of the product, or Sandusky is sending Home Depot damaged goods. I would not advise purchasing this product.

Not worth it to buy anything from home depot online their delivery service is so wast. I bought this one on oct16 and supposed to delivered on nov-3 but till date its not shipped yet. It happened to me everytime.

It is a nice, stable shelf with sufficient storage. I wanted it to be a little more heavy duty, but it works for it's intended purpose.

Love them - Dents and All

I gave this 3 stars because I ordered 8 cabinets which were quite pricey! They could not be purchased in the store, this item is only available online and has to be picked up in the store. We rented a delivery van from Home Depot and they loaded them for us. We unpacked to find the 2 were missing on of the shelves, and about 8 shelf holder things were missing. Most of the cabinets had some really unsightly dents - 2 or 3 were perfect. One doesn't sit level and my husband has to get some type of shim for it. The last one - it isn't put together securely, not welded or secured on one corner which makes it impossible for it to close easily and when you get it to close it makes a loud banging noise. Because of the lower front right corner of the cabinet not held together securely, the locks at the top and bottom don't line up right. But I love them but am disappointed in the dents and the one not standing straight and the other that is so hard to close and lock. My husband had a 12 x 18 foot room build for me as part of the interior of our house - not a shed or outside room. It has the 8 cabinets for inside decorations for every holidays and all my extra sets of dishes and china and wardrobe racks of tablecloths. Its a room for my stuff and I keep it very neat and organized. The dents in the cabinets stick out like sore thumbs.

I put this in the spare room of my apartment. It does not look "industrial" with my gray carpet and I can store more groceries than I imagined. I love the room it gives me in my small kitchen.

Exactly what I needed. I ordered this because it comes assembled. I was disappointed to discover a dent at the top when we removed the cardboard. It was not too unsightly so we decided not to return it. After we had shelves in and the lock on we noticed another dent in the lower front door which caused the door not to close flushed. Since it's in the garage, we still decided not to return it after we had worked so hard to get it set up. I was thrilled with Home Depot's response to my initial survey when I mentioned this. They called me from my local store and I ended up getting a credit on my purchase. The customer service was absolutely great!

I ordered two of these cabinets. They arrived earlier than expected, boxed and wrapped on a pallet. Upon unwrapping the units were unblemished. Only assembly required was to set up the shelves and install the door mechanism. One problem is that the push on nut is a bear to get onto the handle shaft. I am very pleased with the appearance and functionality of the units.

The storage cabinet came well packed so it was not damage in shipping. The shelf holding tabs were easy to insert and shelves went easly onto them. The door handle assembly was easy to install. The cabinet doors open and close very smoothly and locks with the provided key. We have it packed full of electronic and other types service literature and reference books that we needed to be stored in a clean environment which this cabinet provides.

Decent solid cabinet for the price. Can adjust the shelves how you want. I got.the grey and it has a nice finish. Handle install took about 15 min just pay attention to the direction of the handle.

Just received the product today. Picked it up in the store fully packaged. While I love the product was disappointed to find it had a bunch of dents and a 1-1/2 inch scratch on the door. The dents aren’t that noticeable.......but the scratch can’t be missed.
