Viewing thru the tighter weave is not as clear, but a very subtle difference. Would rather have less tiny bugs!

Mostly, the screen is fine. There was, however, a run in the material from one side to the other about 2' from the top of the screen. It was not noticeable until the screen was mounted and held up with light behind it. Home Depot has refused, so far, to help correct the problem by providing a small section of screen to replace the defective section.

Tight weave prevents even smallest insects from getting through. It will block more light than a normal screen.

This is great for the tight weave keeping out those tiny flying Florida insects. This is the second go-around for me as I not only lost three screens during Ian (having replaced all my lanai with this material a year before Ian) and then got hammered with two blowing out again during Hurricane Nicole. My lalnai is in a wind tunnel with a bad storm even living in Central Florida so no fault of the materials used!

This 20x20 screen is so much better than the other sizes of screen for our pool cage. We can now sit outside without getting bit by anything - hugely important when you have small children who are bug magnets. Very good pricing. I wish they sold it in different dimensions.
