I brought this piece to compliment my previous purchase of Royal Doulton Pacific Dishes, for an all white kitchen.
It was advertised as gray. It is taupe so I will be returning it. A review from 2 years ago also said it was taupe, so I am surprised it is still being advertised as gray. I had not read the review before buying. The advertising definitely needs to be changed.

This crock comes in an amazing box and is sleek but strong enough to be loaded. The wooden utensils are the best quality I have ever seen. I am going to use them for serving salad instead of cooking with them

Was very disappointed in the color. Does not match the picture. The crock is not bright white, but is more of a cream color, and the stripes are taupe, not grey.
