Doesn't work well with ice

I loved this blender when I got my first one, but the first one only lasted a month. I thought maybe it was just a fluke, so got a second one. That one lasted a month and a half. Then I bought a vitamix, which was way more expensive, but it works so well and is so powerful, it's a keeper. I make protein shakes with lots of ice and I just don't think the Chefman can handle it. But for pureeing veggies or soups, I'm sure it probably wouldn't break down.

Birthday gift for friend

I picked this item as a gift for a friend. She loved, it used it all the time. but about 2 1/2 weeks ago it stopped working! Tried to return it twice at a local Walmart but they said they've been having troubled with their system. She had the blender less then a yr. I would like to exchange for another one if I could?

Great Kitchen Product!!!

Best cooking product I’ve ever bought next to my Vitamix!!! I use it for blending smoothies and pureeing soups directly in the pot without having to transfer it to and from a blender, as well as whipping cream and making a dressing. But best of all...it makes the smoothest, creamiest mashed potatoes!!!!

I made about 3 smoothies without issue. I made a malt and it died. 4 uses is all I got out of it.

Powerful blender, easy to use

This is a very powerful immersion blender. It has a wide range of speed settings, plus a "turbo" button. All controls are easy to reach. The unit holds a stable position while in use, and pan surfaces are completely protected against damage. Excellent in every way.
