Falls apart

Worked great for a few months and then the heating element keeps falling out. The clamp must put too much tension so the heating element pulls out of the unit. Can not use because water will not get into the heating element and short circuit it. Waste of my money

Chincy quality

I bought this sous vide about 18 months ago and used it several times with terrific outcome, especially fish! Today when attaching to the water bath, it fell apart.

Clamp design fail

The clamp design needs to be modified. There is a lot of spring tension which put unequal force on the plastic housing. This resulted in a crack.

Easy and convenient!

We have been cooking constantly with the sous vide ever since we bought it a few weeks ago. It is pretty much foolproof, resulting in perfectly cooked beef and chicken every time, with very little effort and almost no clean-up!

Perfection every time!

This is our first experience cooking this way and we love it. We have cooked several things now and they turn out perfect every time.

Great machine

My 1st one had a different clamp. It's temp was spot on! The next yr I bought my 2nd one. It's holder had a spring clip where u press it to open it like a clothes pin. It broke within a vry few uses the 2nd wk! It still worked well but IP needs to revert back to the original screw clamp. It's not as flimsy. I plan to buy one for my BFF once they r on sale! Cooks incredibly well but doesn't have an on/off switch. I'm giving it a 4 bc no switch & the flimsy broken clamp. The 4 stars have nothing to do with how well it cooks. Plus they're getting hard to find. Make more!

Delivered super fast. I’ve only used it once to cook chicken breasts, came out very tender and juicy. I thought it was gonna be raw/pink in the middle but no. Packaging was sturdy and with foam

Product worked fine but was not brand new

Bought online. Product works fine. Motor a bit noisy. But it appears to be a used/returned/refurb product being sold as new by Walmart. It was missing plastic bag and plastic cling film that covers the display. The display also has minor scratches.

I purchased this one after a cheap one (Mecity) that I tried before that last about two month. So far is working fine and hopefully will last longer.

Sous vide is super easy to use!

I love the Instant Pot Sous Vide! As I am new to Sous Vide cooking, I can't compare, but the features that I love are: slim design; easily clips on to large pot or other container; add vacuum packaged food and water and it virtually cooks itself; meats are super tender and moist; it tenderizes even the toughest cuts of meat. Some tips that I have learned are: place pot on a heat resistant surface as the water gets extremely hot; cover container with aluminum foil to minimize evaporation of water; make sure to season meats on both sides; add onion, fresh garlic, bay leaves, etc. to the vacuum bag to further enhance flavor.

sous vide for the novice

Newly introduced to the sous vide way of cooking, I am experimenting with different meats and temperatures. I enjoy the concept, but would appreciate some guidance from the manufacturer regarding temperatures. For the price this model is a good place to start.

Best Immersion Cooker

Anoka products are incredible. This is the 4th one I bought. One for myself, my son, a house warming present and now a wedding present. You will never overcook meat again with this. It is so versatile also.
