I have always bought Hamilton beach appliances, I love their quality. This is very good, but would have liked a detachable lid so that I could clean it good. Also, it wobbles a little on the base. Otherwise great.

Terrible - nearly started a fire
After one month of owning this it stopped automatically turning off when boiling. I came into the kitchen and it was nearly on fire. There was steam everywhere from boiling for so long and the element in the kettle was brown and and starting to smoke. I absolutely do not suggest purchasing this as it is a major fire hazard.

The 1 litre size takes up less counter space and is easier to lift. This is good value for the product and features. It boils water quickly as expected.
I use it all the time. My mornings are better because the water coffee boils very fast.
