This kettle is easier to keep clean than our previous stainless one. And it's easier to change the temperature setting. Works great so far and we've had it a couple of months

My last Krups kettle lasted more than 3 years which has surpassed the life span of any of my kettles (3 total) in life. Not one ever lasted more than 1 1/2 year. So when the last one broke I decided to stick with Krups again so I bought this one. I bought it in 2020 and it is till going well now in May 2024. Not a single problem so far!!

Best electric kettle! Very insulated keeps water warm for a long time after it’s been heated. Lid opens nice and wide for filling and cleaning. Controls are easy to use. I think these metal containers are better than the all glass ones. I use mine multiple times a day - this review has been written several months after the initial purchase and it’s still working great.

Very nice hot pot. Cool to the touch on the outside which makes it safer for all.

Very Cheep looking stick for tempurature

There is a stick overlaying the temperature gauge. The sticker would require damaging the unit to remove, so either keep the cheap unprofessional look or damage the unit. I recommend buy something else. Also the beeping cannot be turned off and it does beep for different reasons. I cannot believe this is German engineering.

Krups Brand is untrusted on the kettle product.

I had Krups Expresso coffee machine that lasted over 5 years. So I thought having Krups kettle will also last long as the brand has its reputation. Unfortunately, my Krups Kettle didn’t last long. It was only that. One day it stopped working and the circuit breaker flipped off. As usual, I thought something else might have caused. After I switched the circuit breaker back on. Then I pressed the button on this kettle. Boom! Loud sound along with striking light at the base. This scared a hack out of me why the kettle did not a safety fuse built in. So. It definitely had short circuit. I opened the kettle base and found some burning marks.

It’s a rainy and lazy Monday so while the puppies sleep, I will use my Krupa digital kettle. Has various temp settings and beeps once at desired temp. Works perfect for teas, instant coffees and soups. Takes up little counter space and fits nicely in cupboards
