Zinus King Size Bed Frame

I purchased this bed frame to replace our old one that needed box springs. With my husband's disabilities we needed to lower our mattress down about 5 inches. The video was the best way to go to assemble the frame. Since I am not mechanically inclined, I had to re-watch the video multiple times but once I got it figured out, it was a breeze.The wood is good quality. Just make sure you remember the legs of the frame. They hurt if you hit them. Over all I am very happy with the quality, warranty, and the price

ALERT! NEVER ORDER FROM WALMART!!!!

IF WALMART MAKES AN ERROR AND SENDS YOU A QUEEN SIZE INSTEAD OF A TWIN AND THEN YOU, THE CUSTOMER HAVE TO MAKE THE ARRANGEMENTS TO GET IT PICKED UP OFF YOUR LIVING ROOM FLOOR (I AM 70yrs old WITH A HANDICAP)....I WAITED ON THE PHONE FOR OVER 3hrs TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR WHICH WAS USELESS, VERY POLITE, VERY APOLOGETIC BUT USELESS IN RESOLVING THE ISSUE AT HAND. THEY STILL HAVEN'T REFUNDED ME MY MONEY AND THE BED IS LONG GONE BACK TO THEM!!! IF I COULD GIVE IT A BELOW ZERO STARS I WOULD !!!

Boards and finish needs sanding

The outside pieces of wood have cut edges that were not sanded and flat surfaces are also rough. The wood finish is not at all satisfactory. We will need to use steel wool on flat surfaces and redo stain which will be bare once they are sanded as they should have been before finishing in a factory. We would not buy another wood product from this company, but the size makes this one difficult to return.

Sturdy Bed

I love this bed it’s sturdy and solid. No creaking, no squeaky sounds. Just solid wood. I like the Velcro made to attach the slats to the bed frame. Great build. Zinus never disappoints.

Perfectly packaged and nicely finished, came with crystal clear instructions, with all the hardware shrink wrapped on cardboard stock. Ratchet tool and Allen key were sturdy and kept after assembly (which took no time at all).

Deserve a higher rating of satisfaction

I will not recommend this bed until they resurface the rough wood slats. I had to lay it out carefully so as not to get splinters. Anyway it's hidden under the mattress. That problem is negated by the overall craftsmanship of the bed. It has a beautiful redwood finish, unlike the unfinished rough pine slats it came with that must have been made from the outskirts of China. The rest of the cherry wood is impeccable and great planning and expertise must have been given to how it would be assembled because it's easier than putting together a Leggo. I assembled it in less than 30min and after it was done, I was really proud how it looked and how I accomplished it so easily based from the very detailed and easy to follow instruction.

Don’t hesitate, buy it.

When the box arrived it was quite long which I expected. It’s solid wood so it is sort of heavy but I’m 5”3 and I could drag it easily by myself. I put it together by myself and had absolutely no issues. This bed is super easy to put together, the instructions are clear and if you can’t figure it out they have an online video for directions. The quality is amazing, probably one of my best purchase! This is for my 4yo daughters room and it looks amazing, underneath is high enough I can put under the bed storage boxes with room to spare. I love Zinus, I also have the mattress as well. More than worth it investment.
