Stood the test of time

I have several of these faucets in my house in different bathrooms in different finishes. They are all just over 15 years old and have never had a problem with any of them. Have a new project and am purchasing more Newport Brass because I know I can count on them for quality. Highly recommend.

Nice faucet but the finish does not last

This is a nice faucet, but not truly a lifetime warranty on the finish. In addition, the faucet came with 2 hot tags and I've been told to work with Newport Brass. I've sent in 3 requests and have yet to receive a reply back.

Aerator has not worked for years

This product is now 15 years old and has a 'lifetime' warranty. I have 5 sets of this faucet and the aerator is the same on all of the spouts - they all froze up at about 5 years and can not be removed to clean them without ruining the spout. I called to get new aerators but found that one has to buy the entire spout at nearly $300 each.

Wonderful!

We bought this for one of the bath's in our mountain getaway home. It looks beautiful with the granite countertops! Good sturdy quality. Not sure how easy it was to install as installation was done by a professional.

Beautiful fixture

I have a 1927 Spanish style house and wanted my bathroom to match the era. I choose this piece because I liked the cross handles and the vintage look. I also had done some research on Newport Brass and liked the reviews. Even thoughIt is on the higher end price-wise, it is well made, sturdy, beautiful finish, and wellworth the price.

Nice faucet, but could be better

I purchased this faucet in the weathered copper finish for a guest bathroom redo. The faucet is nice, but has several annoying flaws.1. The valve body is made in germany and is flawless. The drain assembly is made in Mexico and is flawless. It is the American part that I have a problem with.2. The spout is misaligned on the spout shank by about 10 degrees. The spout also has a 1cm dent in the metal that was obviously there when the finish was applied. These flaws will not be noticeable where I am installing the faucet, so I'm not going to worry about.3. The bottom of the hexagonal valve-body bonnet has several nicks resulting in the surface not being smooth. When this hexagonal part is screwed down on the round valve-body escutcheon, it could scratch the surface and be noticeable. This was remedied by gently rubbing the bonnet base across fine emory cloth and applying a thin film of oil to the top escutcheon surface before assembly. No big deal, but it could have been.In summary, this is a nice faucet. It is not "flawless beauty from faucet to finish", like the ads say. At nearly $600, I do not think it is worth twice the price of Kohler. Less

Beautiful Faucet

I recently purchased this faucet to go along with a white cottage style bathroom vanity with a white marble top. I wanted something that appears vintage but still classic and streamlined. I debated about a gooseneck faucet, but I think this looks cleaner and visually takes up less space.I couldn't make a decision on finishes, and a customer service rep was extremely helpful in helping me to narrow it down. I ended up going with the brushed nickel finish. It is slightly brighter and lighter than my other brushed nickel accesories from Pottery Barn but still looks great.
