Great Value
While I only gave this product a Three star for quality, that is just because I ave no idea how it wear, as I only just installed it. I love the look and the feel, and installing could not have been easier. We bought this for our very small kitchen floor in our modest McMansion. Cuts easier with a kitchen knife than a utility knife. I used carpet tape, as I wanted them secured firmly. Any issues I have with the finished product were my own errors. lol.
Product was mostly fine. My last two boxes included one tile each with the felt backing so I couldn't use those, they're about 1/4 taller than the rest.
Well worth the price & elbow grease
I had been thinking about buying these multicolor carpet tiles for almost a year. I read almost every single review taking tips and tricks for all of them.
Love it and exactly what I needed!
I absolutely LOVE this carpet tile. I do wish more of the pieces were more plush but I did my hallway with the plushest pieces and had enough rough pieces for the exit of the laundry room into the hallway and the entrance into the house. This cut down on sooooo much litter and dirt being tracked through areas of the house by my pets.
I had a lot of fun with these! If you’re someone who cannot go with the flow, these are not for you as there is no controlling what pieces of carpet you get. I got two boxes, both boxes were completely different from one another, but it worked! And I love the adhesives on the bottom so you don’t have to worry about slipping and sliding like your traditional rugs. If you’re wanting to get a hallway runner rug or something like that for hard floors, I’d get these instead of regular rugs any day.
I bought these carpet tiles to install in laundry room, craft room, bedroom. I knew they weren't going to be "plush or grade A" but I just wanted floor covering for 2-3 years while we decide if we are going to sell. We know that when people buy a house they always want to change everything anyway. And are perfect for temporary floor covering. We live on a lake plus have pets. The backing is no where sticky enough so we used carpet tape. After putting them in we decided to purchase more to use in hall way and entry. We have concrete floors with in floor heat. These should be good and not restrict heat. Just use a Eureka stick vacuum. Clean great. We also put these down in the room we keep cat litter boxes. Clean easily and no issues at this time
Picture representative of what you get. Colors are a mix, although in all 15 boxes shades of black/gray most predominant, but designs varied. I was able to separate colors well in 40 x 15+/- room. Tape is somewhat skimpy but does appear to hold. Cons are different levels of thickness. One box had two tiles that were inferior, colored plastic and pinkish felt which I managed to avoid using. Easy to install, overall it makes for attractive floor. Damaged tiles easy to replace if needed.
The carpet tiles aren’t the thickest and impressions are easily made on them when walking or setting something down. The peel and stick feature is good but if you make a mistake and have to pull the square up you will definitely lose the strength of the adhesion. But, that’s to be expected. For the price, they are a good deal. However, I wish that I had spent a little more for a better quality carpet.
Laying these squares in our garage to create a path from our door to the laundry machines.
Easy and looks good
Bought the carpet squares to update our three season room. Easy to put down and most squares were easy to cut. The box contains squares that are random colors and thickness. We actually opened boxes in the store and swapped out the crazy colors (neon pink and orange, reds and ugly patters. We laid them on a diagonal which for our room looked better than having them straight. The hardest part was figuring out the design so that there weren’t too many like colors together.
Used these carpet squares in a deer blind on walls and ceiling using some extra 3m glue. I just wanted to be sure it stays up. Installing was easy with minimal cutting to fit. Looks great! Will provide sound proofing as well as some extra insulation against cold weather during the hunting season. Time will tell if it stays stuck to walls and ceiling. Very pleased to this point.
I would say it has beautiful color and is well functional for my home gym. A couple of reasons why I give 4 star are
Fantastic
I absolutely love these tiles! When we decided to purchase this flooring we both expected it to be a harder carpet. This is very easy on the feet and is actually stiff but soft! We used these on concrete and had absolutely no problems getting it to stick and stay. This was a very good product and will definitely purchase again! Highly recommend! And 60sq feet coverage with the 24x24 tiles per box! Very nice!
This carpet. Wayfair does not explain that it is to be laid out in a checkerboard pattern as the instructions that did come with it say. I would not have bought it. The color is fine however, the boxes contain 2 different piles of carpet. One is flat and tight, the other is more "fluffy" and clearly a different carpet. Color is the same however, some pieces are literally half of one lighter color and the other half dark. You can not lay out the carpet in the same direction and have it match at all. We had not wanted a checkerboard carpet at all. Awful manufacturing or we bought 2nds without knowing.
So Easy! Pleasantly Surprised!
Ordered this item for 3 bedrooms I needed to floor to finish my renovation. After quoting traditional carpet install I opted for this as a cheaper alternative for the time being. After installing however i really liked the look and feel of the carpet. It is thin enough that i can use rugs on top without worrying about them buckling and its still soft and provides that feel of carpet you want in the bedroom. I also like the idea of being able to replace tiles that may get stained. Overall a great product and great experience .
The delivery was fast. No issues. The carpet tiles are easy to install and easy to trim to cut out around corners, etc. The 24x24 size makes the work go faster too. I gave the rating a 3 as some of the glue strips on the bottom are not as strong an adhesive as others. This isn't an issue on a floor (flat surface) but if you wish to have a vertical application of the tile they won't stay affixed, especially to concrete it seems. But for a quick refresh of an ugly utility room (aka former garage) it was fine. I would not advise these for use in a room that has a lot of traffic or a living room as the tiles will wear over time and vaccuuming ALL of the dirt out off the tile surface is sometimes not a clean as possible. Last tip, color varies between batches. So if you have a large area to tile be sure to buy enough in one batch to cover.
These are thin inexpensive tiles with adhesive backs. The brown color was nice and we laid as per directions starting in the center of the room but meant tiles had to be cut all the way around the room. If your room is not square each cut needs to be carefully evaluated. With one tile cut wrong we had just enough tiles to finish based on area calculated at the website. I might recommend considering your room and if walls are straight staring in a front corner then only would have to cut tiles on two walls. Cutting adds a lot of time. Light and easy to cut with a utility knife and a t square or L square or a piece of wood. You need a rigid straight edge to cut along. A few tiles were not uniform so wouldn’t mesh with the previous tile 4 stars. We pulled those back off and used later where we had to cut to size. Before we started washed our old linoleum tile floor, which was in poor condition, and when dry put these on top. Most stuck ok but a few buckled up so left those with heavy objects on top. Most flattened down over night. When we were initially placing the tiles we misjudged and had to pull a few off and reset and stuck so well pulled up old linoleum tiles. Yikes. Those areas may need to be glued in the future but for the time being what a great improvement to our rental cabin. These do not seem like heavy duty tiles so not sure how well they will hold up. Time will tell. We did top with an area rug, runner, and mats in heavier travel use areas.
These are absolutely great!
We put these tiles down in 3 bedrooms, a hallway, and a living room and I couldn't be more pleased with them. Out of 24 or 25 boxes, only maybe 8 tiles had a pile height too tall to use with the rest. That's okay though because we used those tiles in a closet that was built over an old porch foundation so the sub floor is 1/4 inch lower than the rest of the house. That helped to even it out a bit. They would've been perfectly fine used under furniture or in a corner of one of the rooms too.

After Hurricane Harvey pushed groundwater up through the slab in our sunken living room, we tore out the wet wall-to-wall carpet and lived with crumbly bare concrete for 3 months. I finally got fed up with the echo and dust and grit and discovered this product as a great cost-effective stopgap floor covering (8 months and counting) until we get the living room filled in and new wall-to-wall installed.

I decided to remodel our manufactured home's master bedroom in my signature "Earthy Eclectic Shabby Chic" style, and chose these carpet tiles to replace our old, ugly carpeting. Husband was skeptical, but when I finished the job, he was very impressed with the look. I'm thrilled with it!
