Very sturdy. Took quite a while to put together but finished product really works for what I needed. Only complaint is the drawers on the bottom come apart when opening them. I bought 2 of these, one bed is fine the other one has the drawer problem.

This, like other things Ive bought on Wayfair is very cheaply made. There was a piece of particle board broken off, but it was on the backside of the bed against the wall, so we didnt bother returning it. My main complaint is the drawers. This bed is for my son who is in preschool. The edges of the drawers are sharp and he has scratched himself on them many times. The bottoms of the drawers are made of some cheap Masonite or other thin cheap particle board. They have popped out many times. I am going to glue them together. The bed hasnt had many issues with it as far as breaking, but its a full sized bed with a 4 year old on it. I think it would be sturdy enough for two adults of average size. Also, it is very heavy.

Low quality

The first bed arrived damaged. The packaging was not very good for how heavy this bed is and it is particle board so it easily gets banged up. The second bed looked fine until we started building it and found one main board cracked. I knew going into this purchase it wasn't quality materials and so I don't expect it to hold up long term. I will say Walmart was excellent with the return process and shipped the new one out immediately.

Don't Buy!!!!!!!

This was the most horrible constructed piece of Furniture that I have ever purchased in my life. The holes didn't lineup anywhere to be able to put it together properly. Half of it is totally constructed from cheap flimsy poster board for lack of a better word. I attempted to return the package to overstock. However could never find anything large enough to package it so I just gave up. I cannot say this enough do you not buy this piece of furniture

Excellent bed for price

Very nice quality bed for the price! I was able to build the bed by myself in about 1hr with just a screwdriver. It was a fantastic and easy build. All the parts were organized and in perfect condition. No dents, dings, knicks or scratches on any of the wood. Also no cracked pieces. The boards were all well secured in the package and seemed to be well thought out on how they were placed. The instructions are very simple if you follow them. All the pre-drilled holes lined up perfectly.

This is a beautiful bed and easy to assemble... provided you have all the parts in a good condition.

Perfect & just what I wanted

I purchased for my teenage son since the old single size bed was not very accommodating to his 6' stature. I love the chocolate color and the wood board supports is what sold the product for me. Other products have wood planks support that turned me off immediately. My son of19 years put it together with my minor help of holding boards and organizing parts. Directions were not the best but once studied closely, we could figure it out. Since the bed parts are made out of particle board you CANNOT use a power drill or you will damage it. So you need hand screwdriver and some muscle to build it. Don't force or bang on pieces to fit or will crack boards easily. Be sure all lines up evenly on both ends of long boards and have someone hold one end in place while tighten/ fasten on one end at a time. Be sure to have a large space to lay everything out and organize parts. The drawers can be a little tricky with getting on the tracks correctly but once figure it out-they fit nicely flush. Once got platform boards in place, it was very stable and strong. I would definitely purchase this product again.

Item arrived on time and was really heavy! I opened the box and found that the packaging did an amazing job of protecting the pieces. I took out the pieces so that I could get the bed upstairs. Once I had everything upstairs, the directions were pretty good and the way the screws were packaged made it easy to put the bed together. The bed works really well for what I needed. It's for a guest room that doubles has an office and the storage underneath gives a guest someplace to put clothes.

Ordered for my 2 year old son in white. I was really disappointed when I opened the package to find that it's not a solid white it's more an off-white with some tan staining, but I'm too lazy to attempt return such a huge package. The instructions were fairly clear but the hardware could have been labeled better. The set up was very quick and anyone with basic problem solving skills can figure it out. It feels pretty sturdy once put together, but I did notice it is pretty cheap particle board so time will tell if it was worth the money. Overall it works for my 2 year old.

This is the perfect size for my preschooler. We wanted to go with a full size bed he would grow into, that wasn't going to be too tall (in case he rolled off of it) and would provide extra storage. He loves the drawers and filled them himself. Because it's flush with the floor there's no place to get under (no monsters either). The construction itself is press board, but the way it's constructed it's very sturdy, we've got a memory foam mattress on top and have all laid on it together. I would recommend two people to build it, it took my husband and I probably an hour and a half start to finish. There are a lot of very smart design choices for this bed, like providing felt pads for the parts that will rest on the floor. The pieces were shipped very carefully wrapped and cushioned by foam, so there were no damaged areas. It arrived in two large boxes that took both of us to move as they were heavy. All in all, very happy with this bed.

Definitely a Good Buy

This bed came packaged very well, no damages. There are many pieces, but they were all lettered so the steps were easy to read. We were able to get it together in a little over an hour. Just make sure you have a good size work space & lay out all the pieces first, it made it a lot easier. As for tools all you really need is a screwdriver & a hammer. This bed is constructed well with a very nice finish. The only negative I have is I would have like to see the Masonite for the bottom of the draws a little bit thicker, but definitely better than what I have seen in stores. So overall I was very satisfied with this purchase & my son loves his new bed.

Sturdy!

The bed was delivered earlier then expected. 2 large heavy boxes. A few scratches when un boxing them but nothing big enough to have to return. Instructions were easy to follow however the pieces which were labled by letters were not as visible or not marked at all. Not a big deal. The bed frame is sturdy and the drawers open and close nicely. Good investment so far. Update 6 months later: The bed frame is still held together quite well. The drawers however did fall apart so I had to gorilla glue them. Easy fix! No other problems so far.

Recently purchased this bed after I couldn't get my box spring to fit through the stairwell during a move. I'm happy withy my purchase! They left the delivery outside and the box did get a bit wet, but the bed was fine inside. My boyfriend and I had no trouble putting it together. The only thing I was disappointed with was I thought there were drawers on both sides. Overall the bed looks great in my space! It's a bit harder than when I used a box spring, so I would suggest getting a mattress that is a bit softer or built for a platform bed. Will definitely be buying more from wayfair.

Deceiving picture / description of item

Received the item and very disappointed. The purchase is for the platform frame and 3 drawers underneath only. The item in the picture is not the complete item. Reading in the question section, one person specifically asks if it comes complete with the bookcase headboard and it states yes! It does not. Not only that, there is no where to order the item shown in the picture. I ended up buying an additional piece for the headboard which I am not happy about. They do not accept returns of open products. Plus, it took my husband 4 hours to put it together and he is a professional. Extremely disappointed

Checking all reviews I got this bed for my daughter. Although I was aware it is made of particle board, I still decided to go ahead as I have good experience with other particle board furniture bought for kids rooms furnitures.

This is a great value and my daughter loves it. We've had this bed for 6 months and it shows no signs of wear or breaking down. I took the advice of other reviews and put furniture sliders on each of the corners as we were assembling the bed. That was a great idea and has made moving the bed possible. I highly recommend you do this this, otherwise, you'll have to take the bed apart and reassemble if you want to move it. There seems to be a great parity of comments over the ease of assembly. If you are mechanically inclined, it will be relatively easy and can probably be done in around an hour. If you're not, expect to be somewhat frustrated and take closer to two hours. All that said, you won't find a better value for a platform bed than this.

Aggravating/Time consuming

I was excited when this came in but as soon as i took it out of the box it was a pain in the butt. First of all there were a few pieces of the wood that were nicked on the edges and of course are the ones that are on the outside for people to see. Secondly, with how many parts there were the least they could do is LABEL the code to be able to figure out which part goes where. For instance, there is one thinner/smaller black part that will go into something, then there is a thicker/bigger blue part that goes in towards the end of putting the frame together but in the manual you can NOT tell which part is for what. The least you could do is again put a label on the bag and color code the parts in the manual. It took me and my mom 4 hours to put together (headboard was maybe 45 minutes). Another part that became stressful was putting the drawers in. The first left drawer went in perfectly fine, the far right drawer was okay but the middle drawer would not go on the track, it kept falling off and falling off. Then, the drawers ended up being a bit crooked which is bothersome and don't open the greatest. Now that it is put together it doesn't look bad but the effort to put it together, not so great. There were also 2 extra black wooded pieces that came with it and i have absolutely no idea what they are for.

About what you'd expect at this price point but...

The bed arrived in three boxes including the extra bookshelf headboard I purchased. The packaging and instructions were acceptable, and there were no pieces or hardware missing. However, there was one very annoying issue. As I was assembling the drawers in the last steps, I realized the inserts used for the bottoms of the drawers were too long. I had to cut all three of these down about one inch in order for the drawer front to sit flush with the sides of the drawers. I'm not sure how a mass produced item could be shipped out with such a glaring mistake, but at least it was correctable without having to send it back or wait on replacement parts to ship. Other than this problem, the bed seems pretty solid and assembly only took a couple of hours by myself. I would have given it four stars without the hassle with the drawers, but three stars is probably a fair rating anyway with all things considered. Not disappointed in this bed, but I'm not jumping with joy over it either...

Great Bed...perfect for my little girl

We love this bed! I knew this was the only type of bed I wanted for my daughter's room since it has the under bed storage with the sizable drawers. It was pretty easy to put together and it is not too far to the ground for my daughter who is about two and a half. We love the storage for clothing...I just wish that the storage could be utilized on both sides. I also wish that the screws had a white finish instead of having the plastic white screw covers which don't always stay on very well. The bed is very sturdy and it looks very nice in her room. It is an amazing bed for the price.
