Ordered this rug for my son’s nursery. I am obsessed with this rug. It had everything I wanted with the style and simplicity for a nursery. I also love everything CLJ! This rug does not last. It has piled so much and looks horrible. There is no way to fix the damage that has been done by just merely walking on it. I’ve had this rug for a little over 8 months and I’m already looking at trashing it. I would not recommend this rug. The entire area of the rug looks like the photos I have attached below. Super sad this didn’t work out, but wanted any future buyers to be aware that although this rug is SO SO cute, I would pass on this one. I’m very shocked with the quality, especially with the price tag. I have multiple Loloi rugs in my home and they have all stood the test of time, but not this particular style and material.

We have an active family

We have an active family so I avoid buying expensive rugs but at the same time do not want something so cheap that it falls apart or looks terrible within a few months. This rug looks so luxurious, even my husband made a comment about it. We have only had it a short time but the construction is high quality and the color is even better in person, it has more nuance and character to it than I was expecting. I will definitely be buying more rugs from Rugs Direct!

I saw an overpriced rug similar to this on a design website. This rug was half the price and looks as high quality in person. It really pulled the bedroom together and completed the expensive look I wanted but at a fraction of the cost. The corners lay flat and it’s thicker than I expected. The cream color is not too yellow or white. The gray can go a little beige in the right space and the subtle varied gray fibers blended throughout, are barely noticeable but add a subtle hint of color so it’s not just your everyday basic checkered rug.

This is a really nice rug. Unfortunately, my cats destroyed this. I am able to use scissors to snip off the pieces but it will never look the same. So if you have cats or maybe even dogs with nails that get caught on things etc, I would not recommend this rug. It’s hard to buy rugs online if you have cats. But this “pile” i think it’s called was too big and the way it’s woven it’s perfect for cats to dig in and pull up.

One of the worst rugs Ive ever bought. Smelled so bad on arrival I left it out on the porch for weeks. Its not soft at all, it has a really weird stuff, waxy kind of feel. Color is not accurate either, it has flecks of blue and purple in it. I didnt return because it seemed like a hassle but I wish I had. This rug also cleans up badly. My other wool rugs hold up beautifully to cleaning with my Little Green but not this one, it is discolored in spots where I cleaned it, which means it still looks dirty. I cant wait to replace this and throw it out.

I really love the look and feel of this rug. Perfect for a den, office, etc. It did shed a bit at first but now seems fine. It is a great neutral color but with a nice pattern that blends with most colors and upholstery.It appears to be very well made.

I really wanted to love this rug. I even bought a special vacuum that is brushless so I could vacuum the rug properly, well after less than 3 months of use it’s already coming undone. Pretty frustrating for a 300 rug. I wouldn’t recommend it since it can’t hold up well.

Follow up on rug

I really wanted to love this rug and I did at first however, it did not hold up. Strings are coming up everywhere and it looks so worn so quickly. They used my picture in the reviews and I wish they would use an updated one that I sent them. I already had to purchase a new rug and had this one less than a year. It’s beautiful though!

I love love love this rug. It’s thick and in my option doesn’t need a pad like so many rugs today do. The “ivory” has a bit more yellow undertone than creamy in my home. Still works nice!

simple and modern

the modern, neutral pattern is perfect for the space and doesn't overwhelm the room. small runner is just the right size and the price was reasonable. ships with no unecessary additional packaging. took a few days to flatten, turning it upside down helped it settle.

Love the texture and quality

Loved it originally, but it has many problems.

This rug was beautiful out of the package in September. I loved the color and detail throughout the threads. Now 9 months later, it's faded and looks dull.

Sheds like a dog!The design and look is beautiful but it sheds a lot. Ive had it for almost a month now, and it has not stopped shedding. For 400 carpet, I expected better quality

I have had this rug for almost a years and honestly can say that I don't love it. I ordered two Chris loves Julia rugs and the fibers that come off of it are never ending. I can't have anything touch the floor otherwise tiny white fibers from the rug stick to it. I would have thought that after having it for awhile it would stop, but here we are a year later and its still doing it.
