The Reviews on this Rod are Deceptive

I have had may shower curtain rods, but none as difficult to install as this one. It just keeps falling down. There is not enough spring tension in the rod to keep to tight against tile. It seems tight, but then a few minutes later it comes crashing down. i would like to return it, but Macy's gives a very short return window, which is not helpful when renovating a bathroom. Big waste of money.

terrible mounting system

This had to be the worst design of an attachment system ever devised, but likely the least expensive to manufacture. The only way it stays on your wall, and the way the instructions clearly state is by extending the slider tube out so that the length exceeds the width of the opening, then twist and lock the bar to that length. Then you must force the bar into place with all your weight jamming it into place and hoping it is tight enough to stay there, while hoping you have not destroyed the wall surface.

Dont purchase

I purchased this shower Curtain rail on sale. Currently changing bathroom decor. Went to install rod. It's totally broken. It won't do anything. One end is completely bent. You can't see how badly it's bent until you take the rubber end piece off. I missed the return window. I could have spent money on lottery.

This chrome shower rod made by Kenny is very pretty easy to install hold and twist tight to secure very durable. Has not rusted. Very pretty with my shower curtain. Very sturdy you can grab on it and pull it’s not going to move. And very affordable. I would recommend these to everyone.

The curtain rod did not stay up. It was put up as instructed and it has fallen twice in 2 wks.

It wont open. Seems to be stuck. Ive ordered these types of tension rods before and was very satisfied. This in is a total waste. Cant get it to open to size. Disappointed.

VERY disappointed. Supposed to be "non-slip", well, not so much. It has fallen down several times. Each time we put it back up, and it eventually falls down. Will be getting something different, and this one will go to the garbage!!

I personally had a hard time putting this up but I it was my inability to figure it out. I had to have my friend who’s a contractor come over and put it up. Once he showed me how I felt like an idiot because it’s really pretty easy.You certainly won’t need a friend who’s a contractor.

It looks cheap and does NOT hold well. I just had a light weight shower curtain and plastic liner and slowly slid down. It’s not spring action. I returned after first 5 hours of trying it.

Clang... in the middle of the night

This item will not stay up. Forget hanging something, anything, from it. Empty--within 1 or 2 days it will release its own "tension" and crash down. Sticky taped the ends... it stayed up 3 days-with nothing hanging from it-- it just seems to "Un-twist" itself.

Curtain Rod

Do not buy!!!! This rod does not twist open. I also had my husband try, no luck. Very light weight. I will be returning this rod.

Could be better.

The first con with this was the packaging. The entire rod is shrink wrapped and your choices are either to take a knife to it and risk scratching the matte black rod, or unwrapping it a half inch at a time by peeling it off.

Defective rod

Item kept falling. Tried multiple times but it never would stay up. I gave up and bought a different one from another supplier. The new one worked instantly.

Cannot get the sticker off of the shower rod

We spent 25 minutes trying to get the plastic and sticker off the shower rod with no luck. The company should really have a easy peel off sticker. Shower rod seems like it may be descent but I am returning it so that we don't waste more time peeling away at it.

Loved the look But......

Purchased this along with liner & curtain. It went up relatively easy but it keeps falling down. Wondering if it's because it's on the tile part of the wall. I'm afraid I'll have to return if I can't figure out why it's not holding as it wax relatively pricey! Wondering if anyone else had this problem. .

I needed a black shower curtain rod. This one appealed to me as it has no springs - just twist it to create the tension needed. I have a similar one in white in another bathroom and it has worked great for years.

This is the most simplest shower rod I have ever used! It took literally a min to hang my new shower curation. There was no sides falling down from the rod on the sides of the walls. It fit snug and tight with no room to move. Very sturdy and looks nice and classy too. Very clean just an overall great product.

This shower rod is such a nice improvement from my outdated and rust induced rod that if memory serves me correctly came with the house we bought so many years ago. I like that the chrome finish elevates something as simple as a shower curtain rod and pops when you walk in the room. This couldn't have been more simple to setup. Right out of the box I simply just took down my old rod and slipped my liner and curtain up around the new one. I have mine on chrome hooks that attach the rod that way so this looked very polished. I am pleased with the quality, and effectiveness. This is a great replacement for people who are looking for a nicer than average rod for their shower. 1/10 difficulty 10/10 performance and style

Our new curtain rod is up and has been for about a week. I can definitely say it is a lot more stylish than the plain white standard rod we had up in the shower. It has an expensive look to it and is very nice. The install was very easy. And seems to be staying put. My shower hooks glide across it okay when I open/close the shower curtain. It really makes the shower curtain look nice rather than this white basic ordinary rod I had.

I bought this to replace our old shower curtain rod because it had a lot of hard water stains. This new one is clean and shiny and looks so much better. It was very easy to install and very self explanatory!
