The assembly did not fit a standard outside shower water pipe. Even after putting rubber around pipe the attachment was wobbly.

The mount is well made and holds fine on our round (1-1/4" Dia.) Moen grab bars. And it even looks good and matches the chrome fixtures. (Nothing against this mount, However, I do wish Delta would include another piece that held the shower wand at 90 degrees from the mount [to allow mounting on a horizontal grab bar to hold the hand shower wand vertically]. As it is, this mount is only usable on vertical grab bars). Thank you Home Depot for making this available.

fit like a glove

Exactly what I have been looking for to attach to my handicap grab bar to hold my hand held shower head while seated. It allows you to adjust the angle of the spray when resting in the holder. It works on both vertical or horizontal grab bars. The whole fixture easily slides any direction by holding the fixture’s handle, then immediately locks in place when moving the handle back in place. I purchased two so I can rest my shower head from the front or side. An added bonus is the water height is perfect for washing your hair while seated. It comes with four black plastic attachments to choose from when installing. It will fit both round and square grab bars, and 1.25” or 1.50” diameter. Extremely flexible and functional addition to your shower and highly recommended to all handicapped individuals.

Worked fine and, since it is plastic, warranty is god to have.

Product comes with 4 different sized brackets to fit square or round vertical grab bar. None of them tighten around Delta grab bar to stop handheld from sliding down to bottom of vertical grab bar.

Did not work

Our experience was opposite to some other reviews. We could not lock securely the mount on our 1.25" vertical slide/grab bar, when the handheld was on it. It kept sliding to the bottom under the weight of the shower head. there is an opening between the bar and the locking paddle, where you can easily push pencil through (see pics). We will return. Otherwise, the device looks well and may work on horizontal grab bars.

The Delta adjustable grab bar mount for hand held shower...

The Delta adjustable grab bar mount for hand held shower head worked well in our application. We liked the security of using a fully ADA grab bar in the tub shower and also in our walk-in shower with the height adjustment.

A great idea, but not that well executed. My contractor and I both found them cumbersome to use and flimsy feeling, surprising for Delta I will be returning them and using a couple of wall mount holders instead. I hope someone comes up with an improved version of this great universal access concept.
