Holds both husbands and my clothes. We used our 5 shelf as an extra pantry storage prior to moving. This piece gave us the closet storage we no longer had. We reassembled to a lower 2 shelf and 1 upper and had room for our clothes to hang nicely.

Works well for what it is designed for. However the the middle does sag down with weight more than we expected. Possibly an additional bracket to support the center would prove valuable.

I am happy to have this strong tube to my shelf. I hate to hang my clothes in my closes since it get some smell no matter what I do. However, I just hang in my room with the wire shelf. When you need to pick your clothes, it's so easy and quick to choose!

I like the fact that the tube is quite sturdy. I am hanging a lot of clothes, which are very heavy, in my room so that I can easily see what I would wear that day without spending too much time looking for one.

I used these to convert wire shelving units into storage closets in my basement. Worked perfectly!

Worked perfectly with the matching 48" Chrome Garment Rack. I used it to create a 2nd tier for my clothes in my closet. Supe easy to put together.

All Metal and Sturdy

This bar perfectly fits my 36” wire shelving unit. It is all metal instead of metal and plastic like some I looked at. It is also very smooth so the clothes hangers slide easily. I have 14 of my husband’s shirts hanging on it and I am sure it would support many more. I put one shelf on the very top, hung this bar and put one more shelf on the bottom to hold his folded jeans. It is a perfect extra closet.

Impressed with the hanging hooks - I've seen many products that are poorly built especially how it hangs off the shelf. These are on snug and don't worry me

I use these clothes bars to convert our 5 shelf rack that we stored folded t-shirts on for our school. After converting and hanging all of our shirts on hangers it is so much more organized and easier to find sizes as we display and sell our shirts to students and parents. This coat hangar has worked excellent. It clips onto the wire shelf without any problems. The garment tube holds quite a few coats without falling off.

Need Hanger Bar for Wire Rack?

You can pay $30 for one or $30 for three from Office Depot. Do the math.

Good Strong Bar.....useless

Good strong bar, but that's it . it's just a bar. who would send out a bar that has no way to attach it to the rack.... it's useless without the hooks to hang it.
