Fits old metal tubs, just save your old shorter bolts.

The plate sits flush with the tub. Pretty much the same as the old faceplate without any brand name written on the front face which is nice and clean design. Included bolts were too long for my tub so if you have older tub like me save those short bolts or you will have to cut these new bolts.
