Why did Lowe’s fire almost all its cashiers?

I bought this thing thinking it would last longer and be better then the regular pull up tub spout but this thing is a bad product it started giving us problems the first week we use it the rubber rings that have inside kept coming out spraying water everywhere and not defusing the water all the way to the shower head do not buy this you be disappointed and is a waste of money.

Bad O Rings

The O Rings get loose and bind up in the mechanism in a few months. This is just a poor design and should be avoided completely. Wish I could get a refund.

Best diverter out there

This diverter is not susceptible to the gasket to metal wear like 95% of all the other diverters out there. Most diverters leak because the metal gets pitted over time and cuts the gasket when operated. This one does not have this issue.

Worked the first few times then the o-rings swelled and made it hard to use then the diverter stopped working entirely. JUNK! DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

Came in assembled and ready to install for the type of piping already installed. A very quick installation process.

Beautiful and updated design, this tub faucet with pull down shower spout looks great in my bathroom and provides a much more streamlined look. The options with a lift-up knob are tacky and look cheap in my opinion. This one feel expensive and fit my tub/shower combo perfectly. I used it on a pipe coming out of the wall, but I believe it can also be used as a slip-on cover. Don't hesitate, buy it. You won't regret it!

Doesn't last

I got this about 8 months ago and it worked great at first. Now you have the physically push the spout back up to turn off the diverter when it should go up automatically when the water is shut off. No way to fix other then buy a new unit. Will go back to traditional pull spout divereters albc atleast they can be fixed.

Lasted almost 4 years before plastic piece cracked

When is is working, its functionality is top notch, but cheap plastic inner piece cracked and now leaks massively when diverter is used. Lasted almost 4 years.

Nice looking bathtub spout and easy to install.

Super easy to install and looks great in the bathroom. It is a great price point as well.

Good and Bad

Positive- Does a good job diverting after installation. Negative- Poor installation instructions/results First tried Fig. A. -slip connection. Figure 2 image vs. Step 4 printed words leads to confusion over proper orientation (face down or face up). Tightened set screw as indicated. Apparently my copper pipe is softer than what they used because I could not tighten set screw enough to keep extension nipple from turning when attaching spout. Went to Fig C install. Made extension from wall precisely 4". Spout would only tighten to 1/4" from wall. Will adjust another day.
