Great Cookware Set

I purchased 2 sets of the SteelShield Tri-Ply Clad Series, 10-piece Stainless Steel Cookware Set with 2-piece Bonus Utensil Sets. I love them!! They are heavy and cook my food great!! Being dishwasher safe was one of the reasons I chose this set. I would definitely recommend this set to anyone.

No the best for induction

The quality of the pans and the non stick surface is good. Have had these for over a year with no issues. They are not ideal for induction cook tops as they have a bow in the base of the pan. These cause a hot spot in the centre of the pan and cooler edges results in uneven cooking. Wouldn’t recommend for induction.

Big disappointment

I have just spent a small fortune replacing all my 20 year old Circulon pans with this range and am unbelievably disappointed. The pans seem to burn over the gas outlet regardless of how careful I have been, have zero non stick features and are very difficult to clean. A very costly mistake for me.

I have used it a few times and wow I'm so impressed that they say it's even heating and it's really true!! even heating is really even heating. You don't need to put on high. Just medium heat. It's perfect.

A welcome addition

We have used this frying pan to cook pancakes and to fry mushrooms. We found the pan nicely balanced and the handle a good shape for holding and it did not get hot during use. The food cooked evenly with no hint of sticking. The pancakes had a concentric pattern giving an attractive appearance! We felt that we didn't need to have the ring as hot as with our previous pan. It has survived being cleaned in the dishwasher with no adverse effects. We are very pleased with it.

Circulon non-stick C series 22cm frying pan

I have already got some Circulon ovenware products, and so I was hoping the frying pan would be as good, and it certainly was. I like to use a small frying pan for frying tomatoes, bacon, mushrooms, etc. to be added to recipes. These items often stick, but that didn't happen with this one. It washes clean so easily as well. Very good, and just the right size for a one person omelette. Also handy to be able to put it in the oven. A cracking product.

New Non Stick Wok is Awesome!

Great wok and is truly non-stick. I like the circular ridges that give more control with pushing food to the side while something else is cooking in the middle. And I like that one of my older Circulon glass lids fits it since it didn't come with a lid. Comes out of the dishwasher like new!

Love the pour spouts

Arrived safely. All pieces in great shape. No suprises! Our box says 11 piece extreme nonstick scratchdefense. From Costco not on drop down list.

Same old problem with non stick surface failure

4 yrs old set with all frying pans and dutch oven now showing non stick decay/flaking.

Expensive mistake

I bought this pan on Christmas Eve as a present for myself. I followed instructions and oiled pan well before use. On first use food stuck to pan. I washed carefully but burn marks were still visible so I returned to John Lewis. Assistant asked if I had used olive oil as it was not suitable. She then decided that it should be soaked to see if burn marks disappeared. I was shocked at response as I am experienced cook and was very disappointed with product and response. The worst nonstick pan I have ever purchased.

Great looking set.

We bought the 10 piece set. Initially, the set was beautiful. Its well built and has a great feel to the pieces. After using them for the first week, i still like them, but struggle with trying to kerp the raised cooking circles clean. Overall, i do like the sst. I hope it lasts.

Handsome and stylish design

I have used Circulon cookware for 25 years and am still using the pieces I originally bought. I specifically wanted the low side 2 qt. Saucepan and am very pleased with the design and performance of this item. I hope to upgrade my present cookware with more stainless steel clad pieces.

Great pans!

Have every pan from this line. They work great and excellent with my induction stove. I wasn’t looking for fully non stick pans so this is exactly what I was shopping for. Performance of a stainless pan but way , way easier to clean. I can’t give this line more than 5 stars but I would if I could.

Good pan for the price

It’s a pretty decent pan for the sale price I got it at. Plenty large enough to cook/fry a large meal for the entire family. I’m still up in the air about the whole circulon concept and not sure whether I like it or not. The grooves can provide a different challenge when cooking, but they do seem to clean easily.

Excellent pan

I really like this new type of pan, it works very well for stir fry’s and grilling steaks.

Strong and easy clean

I have two sets of Circulon cookware but wanted another frying pan because mine are old and the center rounded after so much use and spins around as I stir (I have a glass top stove). I didn't know you're not supposed to use high heat; that was not in my original instructions brochure. This one is so heavy and I now know not to use high heat. The same thing happened with another pan. It is great, doesn't stick, and very easy to clean. Hoping it doesn't do the same thing. Wish this had been covered by warranty.

Nice quality but no good on induction hobs and eggs stick

I had to return the 32cm pan as it warped on the induction hob. Unfortunately, the induction hob heats just the steel part of the pan, so the aluminum layer doesn't heat up at the same rate, so the pan ends up buckling. The centre rises up as per the photo attached, so the oil flows to the outside edge. The helpful John Lewis staff told me I should heat the pan gently so that the aluminum has time to warm up, but this simply defeats the advantage of an induction hob. Also, I was told not to use the pan on a hot setting, such as searing steaks as this will also warp the pan. It's a shame that the pan isn't solid stainless steel and I don't see why they need to have an aluminum layer sandwiched in the pan base. Basically, if you have an induction hob, this pan is only good for gentle warming. Also, as per the other comments, the non stick is really poor, especially if you're frying eggs or fish. Fortunately, the John Lewis staff kindly replaced the pan with a solid stainless steel one with a non stick coating.

Disappointed

I bought this frying pan because it was the only one I found that was this size on the bottom. Other pans that were 32" wide at the top, had a cooking area that was much smaller than this one. The reviews were also very good. However I found it wasn't as non stick as other pans I own. It was OK for breaded fish (if I used oil) both for size and non stick, but for most other foods I found them sticking unless I constantly stirred them, not much good for chicken breasts or sausages etc and no, I wasn't using a high heat. Then I found that often I had to soak the pan first before washing it, and no, it has never been near a dishwasher. Yes, I read every word of the instructions, as I always do. I'm rather sad that way! All in all an expensive mistake and a disappointment.
