Good product once u understand how it works

It was good, issues with twisting in product ... clam sent video how to fix it. Had it up. Good size and easy to carry. If not opened as instruction shows it can twist on its own.

Awesome screen tent

Shipping was fast and great communication with vendor. Took less than a few minutes to setup. Take down was just as easy. You do have to hold the bottom with your foot and top with other hand while pulling or pushing sides. This nice you figure that out, beautiful design. Its huge! Love it. Cant wait to give it a real test!

I must admit, if you read the instructions like they tell you to this thing is extremely easy to set up and put away. It’s roomy and even has flaps on the ground all around to keep insects from coming in at the bottom. And it even looks nice. We are glad we bought it.

Quality item

Lots of room. Easy setup. One slight disadvantage....like another similar product we tried....the mesh on the screen is SO fine....almost no breeze gets through. To make it bearable in the summer.....we found it a MUST....to run a fan on an extension cord placed INSIDE the clam. Even putting a fan right outside the clam and turning it on high....almost no air comes through that tight mesh! The fan has to be inside with you.

Just used it for the

Just used it for the first time. It set up easy just like they said it would. It was simple to take down and went back in the bag with out a hassle. It appears sturdy and did a great job keeping bugs out. If it were just an inch shorter it would fit better in my pickup with a 6 foot bed. However I only need to wiggle it a little bit to close the tailgate. Very pleased with it..

Easy Up Brown CLAM Screen House 12x12

This product is well made and looks great. I purchased an open box item that looks new, thankfully. (I was scared to order the open box.) I get compliments on it a lot. Once I put it up the first time, it became super easy to put up. I just look for what I call the flower top (top of screen) unfold it, pull the cords, and then up it goes. It really can be done very easily and quickly with one person. I usually set it up first because it makes me feel like I have made a big accomplishment. Unfortunately, the top is thin so lets in too much sun. Wish each of them came with at least one panel.

Garbage

Lasted 1 season (2-3 mos tops) b4 uv destroyed roof. Was sent a replacement and was told to spray the roof with a uv protector. Sprayed every week. Lasted another season. Roof fell apart when we erected it this year. Clam now tells me this is for a “weekend pop up”…what? First time I’m hearing that. Is THAT in your information? No, it is not. Not worth the money. Get a netted umbrella if this $300+ p.o.s. falls apart so fast. SAVE YOUR MONEY

Is amazing when not inside out!

This screen house was amazing once we got it flipped inside out. It came out of the box inside out and we spent 2 hours, plenty of cuss words and threw it a few times. Finally my husband disassembled the bars and we were literally able to flip it inside out and it popped together in no time. We were hesitant to take it down after our camping trip, but it popped down with no issues (and we put it back up too to make sure it worked right). All set and now can't wait to use it again. Glad I convinced my husband to not throw it in the trash!

Happy Camper , it went up in 60 seconds.

This thing is great ,so roomy. It really did go up in 60 seconds with 2 people.( I did watch the video recommended first) I can see me being able to put it up easily myself though. It is constructed of quality materials and built sturdy. I couldn't see any signs of use on this. Shipped quickly and came in its own canvas carrying bag. I can imagine many years of camping use .

Worst experience ever in setting this up the first time. Best experience ever once I read the instructions and found a YouTube video. Great campground addition for RV living. Excellent shelter from bugs and sun. Spacious inside as well!

Excellent extra outdoor living space for small RV

We bought this to bring along with a short wheelbase RV to serve as additional outdoor living space. We were not disappointed. Easy set up and tear down. Well made with good quality materials. Also waterproof. I do recommend the optional wind panels for both privacy and serving as a wind break. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Fast set-up!

It is a little expensive and not very compact for transporting but it is high quality. Color choices are limited. The dark brown color helps with hiding the dirt we pick up from the campsites. I think the side panels are too expensive. I would go with another brand like Hike Crew panels.

Stable shelter in moderate wind

Exactly what I was looking for. Set this up at my dog agility trial in Cortez, CO last weekend. Easy to set up, could handle it myself. Had some pretty gusty wind Saturday afternoon and it was rock solid with 6 stakes in and the guy lines attached as instructed. It was a bit warm inside (in 90 degree heat). That was helped by running fans inside, and I put a reflective sunscreen over the top and on the outside (moving them as the sun moved).

Beware of wind

We are very happy with this purchase and the price through this seller was an excellent value. We were glad this model has a solid ceiling, rather than screen, as it better kept out the sun and rain. It is easy to set up/take down once you get the idea. We made the mistake others mentioned of almost trying to turn it inside out the first time we tried setting it up. You shouldn't have to force anything if you're doing it right. We did substitute sturdy metal stakes in place of the plastic stakes it came with. Our only complaint is also one of the shelter's best features: it collapsed (with us inside, unfortunately--bumping two heads one time) TWICE in gusts of wind. This is a designed feature to keep the structure from being damaged/blowing away, but both times it happened it took us by surprise as it didn't seem that windy out. It makes us hesitant to use it, even when we think it's a safe amount of wind out.

Perfectly designed Clam Quickset Escape

After hemming and hawing about buying the Clam Quickset, I finally pulled the trigger. It is expertly made, the quality is outstanding, they thought of everything. I bought 3 panels from Amazon and was amazed at how well the connect to the screen house. Hooks top and bottom, velcro tabs on the sides, and the velcro stretches all the way across the top. On its first outing we experienced heavy rain, and winds. Not a drop came through the roof. Idid spray the entire screen house with Scotchgard. Well worth the investment.

Awesome

This canopy is beyond far the best one I've ever owned. Wanted for 2 years, finally saved enough, an I'm very happy. Went with the camo to be more earthly and blend well with my green gazelle. I am disappointed that they charge $50 extra for 3 window covers instead of $30 just because its camo, so I just may buy green window panels.

Awesome shelter

This is so easy to put up. I just turned 69 and was able to pop open the sides and roof in approx. 45 sec to a minute. Goes down just as quickly. What I like about this is the quality. I feel it will hold up to rain and wind better than the Coleman screen that I had. I also purchased separately the side panels for privacy and additional protection. Very happy.

Sets up in less than 2 minutes.

Received product within time promised. Freezing and raining outside so we opened it up in the living room. Inspected for signs of wear and tear. None found! Extremely happy with our purchase and would recommend highly. Haven't tried it camping yet, but I am sure it will be everything we need. Tried of setting up our 10x10 pop up then installing mosquito netting, 7 - 10 minutes. The Clam does it all and in amazing time. 2 minutes from out of the bag and up. Guys! Just read instructions or if you see logo is inside out, then realize you need to take a second look.

I would buy this product again for limited use only

I purchased this Clam 2 years ago. I am a full time Rv'er and I needed a spare room. This tent has preformed as noted. I thought I would leave it set up year round. The tent did not like the constant sun of Arizona , even though I treated it with waterproof and uv sun proof several times. The tent also does not like the winds of western Colorado. The material rotted and tore after 2 years of constant use. The poles and frame work great and are in great shape still. Clam Mfg. does not sell just the tent by itself. I do not recommend this as a 4 seasoned shelter. It is a great tent if taken down in inclement weather. Easy to set up . By the way Clam probably does not recommend this tent as 4 season. Having said this I wish it was as rugged as their ice shelters. I would recommend this tent as a temporary use shelter
