Hot weather? go for the better mesh version.

I received an email to review my gazebo. I bought the regular one but i found the mesh too restrictive to airflow. So I went to exchange it for the better mesh one. Then I found the shipping to return it was so expensive so I will give it away. So I got the one with better mesh, much better. It is bulky to stow in my campervan but it is nice to have a quick setup over the top of a picnic table.

Quality Product

The quality of this product is exceptional. The canvas is thick and the zippers are stitched well. The tri-tech mesh was small enough that no mosquitoes/gnats could get in but the gazebo was breathable for air circulation. Liked the size—not too big and not too small-fits 2 lounge chairs, 2 regular chairs and a table easily.

Get off the fence and buy it

This gazebo fit all my needs and is super easy to set up and take down! This thing is sturdy and can take some wind (when anchored). We were looking for something that could keep us dry and out of the sun. Now we can cook while camping regardless of what amenities are at our spot.

Small Issue

Haven't yet used it a full season but we like it. It was very hard to put up due to the fact that several rods were entangled. After we figured that out, all went well. The take down was seamless; husband collapsed it alone. We are looking forward to next season.

Just what I was looking for!

I bought this screen room as a shelter from bad weather at the hunting camp. The tent has high quality materials, which was a pleasant surprise. The stakes are beefy, yet easy to remove for packing. The 3 included wind panels worked well and kept the rain off us and off gear we placed inside. True to some reviews, if placed in the sun, it gets hot inside even with the wind panels off. Still love it! Going to order 2-3 more wind panels.

Quality Features

This is a replacement for a competitor's product that was damaged in a storm. The quality of the fabric and stitching appears to be better on the Gazelle. I like that it comes with velcro strips installed for the optional wind panels. Another nice touch is that there is a grommet for securing one side of the zipper opening making manipulation of the zipper easier. The "screw-in" stakes are also of a nice quality and less likely to be pulled out by the wind, unlike the straight "nail" type used by competitors.

Buyer beware

This is falsely advertised as the newer model but you will receive an older out dated version, you are better off purchasing from a different retailer or direct from Gazelle. Both the Target customer service and Sprertail confirmed they were using incorrect pictures and information but refuse to replace the one I received with the correct model they advertised. Buyer beware.

Amazing Gazebo

What a wonderful gazebo! Easy set up-FOR PEOPLE WHO READ DIRECTIONS! I put it up alone in 50 seconds, and took it down the same amt of time. When my husband put it up with my son (without using the directions) I realized 3 days later, when trying to take it down, they put it up INSIDE OUT! Had to take the poles apart and took 3 hrs to redo their mess. Otherwise it is OUTSTANDING and easy to put together and disassemble.

Why the pull handle on top?

Relatively easy set up and sturdy. Set up instructions a bit unclear as far as illustrations go.

Wonderful

Set it up in our backyard to check it out before we go camping. It will be a nice addition along side our motorhome. Our son is in a wheelchair so while enjoying the outdoors, we wish to protect him from bugs, direct Sun etc. It is well made. The carrier for the gazebo was torn a bit in shipping. Called The company and they quickly sent out another. Great customer service. Looking forward to using it! Thank you so much. J

Great pop up gazebo

This is my first gazebo so I wanted something easy to assemble. It was fairly easy to setup and it's huge inside. If you're a camper and you are needing to setup in a tight spot this one may be to big, but if space isn't a problem then you'd be in camp heaven. I use mines to house my hot tub. So far it's held up pretty well. I'd re purchase.

This has been a huge upgrade to the typical Ez-Up awnings I have used in the past. While those cost a bit less, I would go through them every other camping trip. A sudden gust would come through and blow it over and it would just break. This Gazebo on the other hand can be easily staked down and it has held up even in a pretty bad dust storms here in Arizona. It's been working great as our camp kitchen, as well as a good place to store gear and other things you don't want to get wet overnight!

Gazelle 6-side tent - well done!

Easy to set up and take down - even one person can do this! Huge improvement over old screen tents. Seems like a good rugged zipper was used for the door. We used this through rain and it held up well. We also purchased the rain shields and it looks like they fit well. Next rain fall we will try those to keep even dryer.

It actually works as advertised. Very easy to set up and break down. The sides end up nice and tight.

Excellent well-conceived bug shelter

Bought the G6 with 3 panels package in Desert Sand for a cross country trip to the Maritimes. Impressed with the quality, attention to detail (light colour, rain flaps) and ease of set-up - it’s enormous for two people but accommodates a picnic table as well as our chairs when the bugs are out. A real outdoor room. Stands up well to PNW-type downpours on the East coast. As a reasonably fit 68 yr old woman I can even set it up and take it down on my own (as long as it’s no longer over the picnic table). Good against mosquitoes, black flies and no-see-ems - keep a bug zapper handy for in and outs.

Solid structure, easy set-up

Purchased this product in 2022. I also purchased 3 side wind/rain panels. These are well built and easy to set up. The ground stakes supplied are the best stakes I have ever used. We use this gazebo regularly for camping and have used it to cover a picnic table and also to set up our sleeping cots. The mesh side netting is very fine and very strong to keep out the bugs as long as you keep the entryway closed when not being utilized. The purchaser must realize that since the screen mesh is extremely tight, and bug proof this fact also inhibits heavy amounts of air flow. The screens do allow air flow, but if you purchase this expecting nice breezy drafts of air, you will be disappointed. If you are merely wanting a shady place to sit, then purchase a stand alone canopy. These are well built enclosed Gazebos that are well suited for dining, living, and sleeping areas while camping. This Gazebo came with tie downs to secure the bottom of the walls and also to secure all the hinges from buckling under heavy winds.

Perfect Addition to Our Camping Kit

Perfect addition to our camping kit. It's like adding an extra room to our camper. We can fit most campground picnic tables inside the Gazelle with room to spare. It offers a great way to be outside but out of the weather/bugs. As others mentioned, the mesh is tight so airflow can be limited. But a portable fan helps keep the air moving and keep things cool. Would recommend and would buy again.

Love it but…

Bought this instead of a Clam, and the comparison is good. However, our first trip out involved a lot of rain and we found that the seams all around the top drip and leak, reducing the usable space inside - pretty disappointing. We’ve sealed them and will use it again this weekend with hopefully better results. Ease of setup and takedown is as advertised.

Clam Quick-Set style tents: worth the trouble & expense.

I have this tent (with the Clam Corp, Quick-Set). It is sturdy, well designed, and does go up in just a little over 6 'snaps', plus door rods, and optional sun shields, guy lines, & stakes.

Super sturdy day tent a breeze to set up!

This tent was a godsend during our most recent camping trip when we had a downpour of a day. We stayed dry, were able to cook underneath it, and it actually is surprisingly warm in the tent, as well. Even without rain, it was just a great hangout over our eating area where we could eat or chill bug-free. This is a dream to set up. Goes up and comes down in a couple minutes. Very well built and sturdy, we just couldn't be happier and this was a stellar price. We think it would be great as a shelter for cookouts, soccer games, etc. As other reviewers had mentioned, it is heavy, but that is because it is so incredibly well built and secure. We had multiple compliments on it at our campground, which made us only happier that we had snagged it for this price. Excellent purchase, super fast shipping, and all around ideal purchase.
