Sturdy Piece
Item is sturdy and looks exactly like the photo. We have lots of furniture from Scandinavian Design and I'm happy that it's a similar style. Works well in our entry.

Solid and durable set!
We love this shelf/bench combo! Both are solid (and heavy) which is refreshing b/c so much furniture these days is just pressboard. The wood is a fairly soft wood so it might get scratched (especially if you have pets that might climb on the bench. The shelf shipped fully assembled and the bench was pretty easy to put together (15-20 minutes). The hooks on the shelf are perfect for bags/coats, but too big to hang keys (we ended up putting a few screw hooks on the shelf for keys and it still looks great. Also, this was one of the few benches/shelves that weren't 48". The space we had was about 45" so this set works perfectly in smaller entryways (it's only 40" wide).
