disappointing finish/colour
Tuscan Brass finish on Rohl faucets has changed in recent years. It is now just a dark brown paint finish. Faucet quality still good but finish does not match my older tuscan brass faucets.
RUN, don't walk, from this one!!
I bought this nearly-$600 model for my kitchen (in nickel) during a recent remodel. It looks great and I was thrilled with it...for about six months. Suddenly the faucet gave only a trickle of water. Sometimes activating the sprayer would help restore the flow, but not always and not for very long. I contacted Rohl (they seemed to be familiar with this problem) and they sent me a replacement diverter. After paying a plumber $130 to take the faucet apart and install the new diverter mechanism, it worked well....for about four months. Now if I want full water flow, I have to get it from the sprayer instead of the faucet. It also squeals when the valve is opened. Rohl has told me that they will send another diverter (which means another plumber's visit) or I can return the faucet to them and if there's something really wrong with it, they might replace it.
