Heavy/ great quality - worth it

This was perfect for my Christmas roast. Really love the size! Highly recommend.

Big enough to use for all kinds of meat, bread etc. Love the well all the way around to catch liquids. It's not so big that it doesn't fit nicely on my counter.

Remove feet for wasy storage, ya big dummy!

I bought this almost 6 years ago, and I had to sand the groove with 320-grit before cleaning and waxing. I still have to do that every once in a while, but I'm now wondering if I should use the classic Butcher's Wax - the one made by this company feels more wet, giggidy.

Nice quality, but rough

I do love it but wish it were sanded smooth and oiled as it stains very easy and is very rough.

Be sure you have a handy place to store this as it is large. Just beautiful and large enough for a chopping spree!

Rough surface out of the box - would have expected it to be smooth and oiled but it was like raw wood. Not a nice feel. Have sanded and oiled myself and it improved. I think with 1-2 more rounds of sanding and oiling and it will be nice - this should be done by manufacturer though. Other than the surface finish, it looks great and rubber feet are handy. The juice catching trough around the edges is nice but makes cleaning trickier than a flat board. Overall nice for the price though.

This cutting board is large and heavy but so needed to protect marble counters from all the juices that run off when you are slicing, dicing, and chopping. Exactly what I was hoping for !

Nice thick block but I had no idea I needed to season it. So it still has not been used
