This rug pad is exactly what I’ve been looking in our high traffic den with french doors out to our patio. It lays flatdoesn’t move around, and provides the perfect cushion. It’s also the right size as ordered. The last 4 rug pads I’ve bought were so oversized I had to cut them down and my hands still hurt. This one is perfect!

This rug pad is amazing! We have a stone floor in our sunroom and needed a good thick rug pad to provide comfort and protection (we have a baby and toddler). At first feel I was unsure, I expected it to feel a little more plush, but once it was down and under the rug, it WORKS. It's 1000x more comfortable to sit on the ground, my toddler has even taken a tumble on it and it didn't hurt despite it being hard stone floor underneath. Great product and a good price! Note you will likely have to cut the pad to the exact size so it's slightly smaller than your rug and it takes a little effort to cut through, but worth it.

I was surprised to find that one side of the rug pad was very rough, as though it had glue on it, but when reading about your product, it said they use nothing like that. I felt it was too rough to put on my new wood floors, so I am using it rough side up. I saw no other reviews with this problem. I feel like I got the end piece off of the roll. The opposite side is quite soft, but has a lot of shedding going on with large pieces of fuzz. If it is supposed to be this way, then it should come with directions saying which side should be up. I did have to trim the rug pad which is difficult, but doable and understandable. Cutting is much easier when applying tension to the piece you are cutting.

If I could return this easily, I would. This pad is a death trap on a wood floor. The bottom is not rubber nor does it grip at all. When you step on it, it slides out from under you and is a hazard to safety. I have to use double sided tape in a hope to not fall and break something in my body. This shouldn’t even be allowed to be sold to consumers, it is a safety hazard.

Nice rug pad. The only issue is that it is slightly larger than the stated size. Would have been better if it was slightly smaller so that it would easily under the rug. It arrived before the rug did and sure enough the rug was EVEN SMALLER than stated size, so had to trim the pad quite a bit. That was very difficult. Ended up using tin snips.

Great rug pad under washable rug

I purchased this pad to go under a large washable rug. Washable rugs are very thin but this pad added enough padding to make the rug feel comfortable. The quality is excellent and it lays flat out out of the packaging. I layered a rug grip pad under it to keep the rug from shifting on the hardwood floor.

Absolute garbage!! It’s basically a blanket it has no non-slip backing so good luck on hard floors. It also came folded into a tiny rectangle. So again good luck with it laying flat and not having creases in your rug! I guess Wayfair is like everything else these days pay more or less quality! Now let’s see how much Wayfair charges me to send back an absolute horrible product they sold!!

As described, very cushioned and worth the price. The 10x14 didn’t fit exactly under our 10x14 rug, but I wanted a few inches shorter on each side so the carpet wouldn’t stick up on the edges. So we just trimmed with scissors on two sides to make it centered how we wanted. Fits great now and we are very happy with the extra cushion. My couch sits on two sides so I can’t speak to whether it’s slip resistant, but it works great for us.

This is super nice! It pairs really well with my 7’9” by 10” rug that I bought. I thought it would be a little bigger and was worried I’d have to trim it, but it matched great. Very plush and comfortable to walk on. It came rolled in a box when delivered and was very easy to take out. Rolled out flat onto my floor. I’m very happy with this purchase and 100 recommend.

I purchased this rug pad for cushioning under 2 new (Home Depot) kitchen rugs that have absolutely no padding. I like to cook, so am standing on hard tile flooring for lengths of time, which can cause my feet and back to start hurting. I was able to cut this one 5'x7' pad to use under both 2'x5' rugs, with padding left over. The padding is great - it feels like I'm standing on cushioned rugs now. It doesn't prevent the rugs/padding from sliding around on the tile floor, though, so I'm constantly pushing them back into place in front of my cabinets and sink. I'm sure rug gripper under the pads would take care of that - just haven't tried it yet. All in all, I'm glad I purchased it.

Packaged appropriately and relatively easy to lay out with two people. I like the 0.5'' thickness which adds comfort to our thin rug. The bottom of the pad did not feel "non-stick" to me, but with our large 9x12 rug placed under furniture, I don't think slipping will be an issue. Could be an issue with a smaller rug however.

Good quality and makes the rug more comfortable. Perfect on top of our ceramic-tiled floor. Size was exactly as stated. The pad is soft and will shed a bit

I saw complaints about odor, and was worried. I have a sensitive nose. I found it had a mild scent upon opening package. I aired it outside for a couple afternoons, and there is absolutely no odor issues whatsoever. It is slightly larger than described, but that's okay, I usually have to trim the pads to be slightly smaller than the rug anyway. It's made my new rug deliciously soft and pillowy! Great quality for price.

Awful Pad filled with half inch metal staples

This rug pad did not look like the one pictures. Quality was awful. Then as I was laying it out on the floor and getting ready to put a rug on top, I stepped on something and had a sharp pain in my foot. I pulled out a half an inch piece of metal staple from the pad. I then noticed and pulled out another 5. While rolling it back up, I could see a couple dozen more sticking all throughout the pad. This pad was for our two year olds room and couldn’t imagine if he stepped on it.

Had to trim about 2 inches on one edge as it was slightly too big for the rug. Not sure if the rug was smaller than billed or the rug pad was wider than billed, but my husband was able to use common household scissors and get it trimmed down in about 12 an hour. Looks great and really helped with comfortable enjoyment of the new rug. Since I don’t know where the size discrepancy originated, I did not take off stars.

Sizing way off!

I purchased this pad with the intention of getting 2 pads after cutting it to size. I have a 4' X 6' rug (which actually measures (3.5' X 5.5') and a runner which measures 2' X 9'. I ordered a 6' X 9' pad so that I could get both pads in one. I thought there was a chance that the pad could be a little small, but would still serve my purposes. Unfortunately, the pad was MUCH smaller. Actual dimensions were 5'- 2" X 7'- 11" Frustrating.

Since it said felt, the assumption is that the "feel" is the same on both sides. That is absolutely not the case. I'll have to turn the rougher side up to put the rug on. It would definitely scratch a hard wood floor over time. I gotta say - the descriptions on Wayfair are NOT the best and I've had more fails than successes.

Something you NEED that you don’t realize you do! Why have flat rugs that do not give you a softer footstep Your toes will thank you as they sink into a luxurious feeling rug. I buy them for every room in my home and my clients. Additionally, cushiony rugs elevatates your rug and floors. Buy a size larger than your actual rug then manually cut to your perfect rug measurement. You will not regret buying.

My Rug Pad, 10x14, was delivered right on time in perfect condition and was very easy to unroll and put down. My Rug Pad fit perfectly under my new rug and made my rug feel luxurious! It’s my second 1/2 inch thick Rug Pad because I had just put a 10x10 Rug Pad under a new rug in my living room. The extra padding really elevates the quality of my rugs. Both of my Rug Pads arrived days before the rugs, too!

These pads feel great under foot but be prepared to spend more because they’re not sized properly. I tried with a razor knife and cutting board but that didn’t give a clean cut. I had to purchase tools to cut the pads down to size. I think they’re probably excellent pads but just be prepared to do some trimming.
