As soon as we opened the rug we knew we would be taking it back. Even thought this rug is advertised as a shag rug, the pile was so thin and spread out that the rug provides very little cushion. Moreover, you could feel hard bumps were every strand attached to the backing. We immediately returned both rugs and looked elsewhere. Luckily, HD was great about letting us return them for a full refund.
Would never purchase again
It soft. It smells terrible. We have aired out since we purchased about 4 weeks ago . when you walk on it you can feel the underneath of the rug.
