Rubbermaid is the best for the money

I like the fact that this container is good size. Holds 5 cups of whatever. Had one before and somehow the lid disappeared. The price was good and I like the fact I didn't have to buy a whole set to get it replace. I just used it yesterday in fact I slow cooked a 3 lb turkey breast and was able to fit all of the left over portion in it.

Our favorite containers for leftovers. Love the lids. I wish they could make them so they would stay smooth inside. After microwaving sometimes they get rough places and tomato based foods discolor them.

Perfect for the microwave

The vented lid makes this Rubbermaid container perfect for heating up foods,especially ones with liquid content. The vent prevents boil over, or needing a full plate size cover. I especially like it for Ramen noodles and vegetables. Also after taking the portion needed out, I can allow leftovers to cool and refrigerate in the same container. I'm all about minimizing dishes to wash. I will buy several more in this size.

very convenient!

I buy frozen vegetables often. I was hoping this would be good for microwaving individual servings of broccoli, spinach and cauliflower rice without turning to mush. The vent feature is perfect. I'm very happy

Venting hole, doesn't leak

I have to admit that I've only purchased one brand of plastic container for several years because I've had a hard time finding any other brand that doesn't leak. And when I saw that this Rubbermaid container had a vent in the top of the lid, my first thought was "this is going to leak". Imagine my surprise when I filled the container full of water and tipped it upside down...and nothing dripped! I do like the little vent in the lid so I can warm things up in it without having to open the lid itself. I also like the size as it fits most of the meals I take to work. So there isn't really anything to not like about this container. It's great!

Simple and efficient.

This Tupperware looks like a regular storage container but upon closer inspection it has a couple of extra new features I have not seen before on these items. It has a push button top extra small square on the lid that opens to the air to allow for drying of moisture inside but not have to open the entire lid. This would be good for food storage where drying the items inside would be desired. The other item which is new to me is the extra material rim on the bottom of the container to keep it flat and stable on surfaces it is placed on so it does not tip over. The top lid itself is easy to take on/off without a lot of effort. I would recommend this product to others for use with food products or just general storage of small objects to keep things organized.
