Awning looks great. Time will tell how well it works. Do yourself a favor and assume you’ll need to buy your own mounting hardware. Molly Bolts included are useless. The cone-shaped nuts that should open the anchor pull off without unscrewing so there’s no tension to hold the anchor in place. The specified pilot hole drill bit size of 0.47” A) is non-existent

When reading the inst, it mentions not to place this item in the sun.

Don’t waste your money!! Cheap plastic that can not handle direct sun light. Terrible instructions. The hardware they give is worthless!

It's sleek and stylish. It just went through a couple 30mph+ wind/sand gust storms over the past week without a blemish. The brackets are made out of plastic but seem to be heavy duty. Drill them directly into your house frame with lag bolts.
