Excellent humidifier for small rooms

Bought this humidifier for the kids' room. I have 2 kids, one of them a toddler and the second one a baby. I'm living in a country where the day temperature can reach 45C and higher, and at the same time, we have dry hot weather. For kid's rooms, it is an excellent choice and decision. Because during the day, the kids' room stays at a comfortable temperature. Do I recommend this humidifier? Yes, absolutely.

Works great

I read all of the one star reviews prior to deciding on a purchase. I realized after reading the instructions for the humidifier that the folks writing those reviews didn't read and follow the instructions. Leaking while carrying it? Not supposed to carry it while full. Leaked all over wood table? Not supposed to put it on a wood table. Put a towel under it to catch drips? No. Blocks the vents. So read the instructions and you should love it. I got the clear one and it's looking good, working great.

I purchased this humidifier for my plants so my expectations were mostly based on if this would help them. This humidifier is pretty cool for its shape and visual interest. I’ve never purchased a humidifier so if I could go back, I’d look for one that was a top fill as this one isn’t and I’d look for one with an oscillating nozzle/top. This top is able to be aimed but I’d like it to rotate or even just move back and forth so all my plants get the misty love. Noise level is nothing, I don’t hear it at all. Seems it runs out pretty fast but that’s not a deal breaker for me.

Best I've ever owned

I live in the semi-arid high altitude desert of Northern New Mexico. And I grow orchids -- which are descended from rain forest ancestors -- as houseplants. Running a humidifier just about non-stop during the cold months is key to helping the plants grow and bloom successfully. I had tried several that failed after just a few weeks or months. Most seem to be intended to get you through a bad cold and then packed up and put away, not run continuously. My last humidifier, which lasted for 2 1/2 cold weather seasons (roughly mid-September to early May) was a Crane and worked great. When it finally failed I got two more. They are easy to fill, easy to clean, and now totally silent. I'm a fan.

Great lightweight humidifier.

I like this little humidifier better than any other I have used. And I have used them for 30 years. I had one a few years ago, but I didn’t follow the directions & it stopped working after 6 months. I’ve had this one for a year plus. Works great as long as you follow the directions. You must empty it out & allow to dry after every use. When not in use , empty & dry it out. Do a vinegar rinse as directed once a week. Then you will have a very quiet, well running humidifier. I keep it on a plastic tray with a hand towel on top. I put it on my dresser in the night. In the morning I put the disassembled humidifier on tray in the closet to dry on a luggage rack.

Love this!

I love these Crane humidifiers. We have used this same one in my son's room for 3 years and its held up great so I purchased this one for our room. It makes no noise which I love. It does have a little green light so if you are super sensitive to sleeping with light that might bother you. If you run it on high all night you have to refill daily as the tank isn't huge. Cleaning is super easy, just use some vinegar once a week.

Easy to fill and works immediately

Perfect size to get through the night and most of the day. We bought two for ourselves and our daughters and run them every night. Easy to fill and to carry, not an awkward heavy shape like some other misters I've used. And I love the adaptable speed settings. We can turn up for high mist at night to help ease a cough, or set it low for a steady mist that will last all day. I also like the shape and the soft green glow. Have not had any issues so far with condensation pooling around the device.

Fantastic re-design on this product!

I have been buying these Crane humidifiers for about 12 years and recommended them highly to everyone who asked me about their cool design! I even have one in my work office. Now I find that the company took a good look at this design and made it even better. It's lighter weight, the chord is detachable for cleaning- YAY!- great move- and it has same great output in mist. All in all- an even better product. This cleans really well rinsing with a simple white vinegar water solution. The newly re -designed top fits really well into the hole in my kitchen sink and will evenly balance without me holding and fill all the way to the top! Anyone who has realised the value of running a humidifier over the winter months could really appreciate this unit for it's over whelming ease of use. If you have sinus problems- this is the solution. Run this thing night and day and it REALLY makes a world of difference. Thank you Crane!

GREAT VAPORIZER!

This is a very good vaporizer. I put it next to my bed to combat a dry nose and throat while sleeping. It is extremely quiet—I’m a light sleeper generally so that is wonderful. It is very important to follow manufacturers instructions—NO Essential Oils should be used in it, and empty and refill with fresh water EVERY DAY. I did buy a compatible Crane filter to combat hard water deposits and a cleaner fish to help keep the water clear. This does not mean you should skip the weekly cleaning with a little white vinegar however! I found this to be pretty easy to set up and use. Follow the directions and it should provide good service for a long time.

Great Addition!

When I opened the box my first thought was "This is so cute". I got this for my twins bedroom. Love that it fits their room perfectly. The color is great. It is so quiet that I forget that it is on which lets my twins sleep without extra noises. It has a long run time so I don't have to fill it so often and if it runs out of water it shuts off all by itself. It lasts all night. I use distilled water because our water is not the best. It is very easy to clean. Love that I can change the direction of the mist with the nozzle. The vapor slot will come in handy if/when they get sick. I'm happy that I won't have to use more medicine on them and I can just put in a vapor patch. There is 3 different speed settings so you can adjust however you like it. Overall I highly recommend this product for baby/kids room or really any room.

Love me a Crane Humidifier

By Far - this brand is the best. Crane USA's only product is humidity and they do it well. I have several Crane Humidifiers in my home that are used for all sorts of things, for plants, for balancing the heat in the winter months, mini facials (spa day for mom). They hold up well with constant use and being around CHILDREN!!!. They are easy to clean. Some have Vapor slots for Vicks or essential oils when you need it, I cant say enough about Crane USA. It is the width of a salad plate and as tall as a 2L bottle of soda. (for those who dont have a measuring tape) Added bonus, each humidifier comes with a 1 year magazine subscription to Better Homes and Gardens or Martha Stewart Living, or something of the same genre. That's a nice treat for us moms, I think! Walmart makes it easy to pick the right one for you, shipping was fast, price is great.

Sleek, Compact, and Quiet

Thank you Crane-USA for this free product! Prior to testing this Crane Droplet Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier, we already use Aqua Drop Cool Mist Humidifiers in each of our children’s bedrooms. The Droplet is slightly smaller, more compact. Where as the Drop Humidifiers have a settings knob to select the mist intensity and an indication light, the Droplet Humidifier has buttons and no light. I am partial to the buttons. Also, the buttons play an important role in giving the Droplet a sleek design. I love having the indication lights in the children’s rooms, but as the Droplet is in my bedroom, I also love that the Droplet does not have a light. The Droplet Humidifier has a feature that the Drop Humidifiers do not: a vapor tray for Vapor Pads. I like that the Droplet has this feature! We were provided with a sample of the ‘menthol, peppermint, eucalyptus, and lemon oil’, however, we did not enjoy this scent. Personally, I feel there are too many scents competing and I believe a more simplistic version of the Vapor Pads would be far more enjoyable.

Great addition to my self-care routine

I was excited to receive the Crane Droplet Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier – White to try out in my home. I've always used humidifiers in my children's rooms, particularly when they are congested, but never took the time to use one myself. This product's design can fit in any room. It is small enough to fit on a bedside table with room to spare. It holds a lot of water for it's size. I ran it all night and there was still water left in the reservoir in the morning. I love that it is quiet (I'm a light sleeper) and the indicator light turns off after you select the level of air flow. I always liked the nightlight feature for humidifiers for my children's room but I was happy not to have additional light in my room with this model. I'm happy with the airflow of the cool mist and could tell the difference in my room pretty quickly. Overall I'm happy with this humidifier and look forward to using it throughout my house for years to come!

Would Definitely Recommend!

I received this humidifier as part of the product review program. Upon arrival, I unpacked it and was very pleased with how well it was packaged. The setup was very easy and the steps were clearly outlined in the booklet that accompanied the unit. Also, care and cleaning instructions were included and very easy to understand. I have used the product for two weeks now and have loved it. Where I live, the weather has been very up and down - 90 degrees one day and 50 degrees the next, so we have used the product with both the air conditioning on and the heat on. We have not experienced any issues with it and feel it helped transition between two extremes in weather. One of my kiddos is susceptible to nose bleeds with weather transitions and he did not have any this past week. The unit is also very quiet and we do not notice any background sound. I am looking forward to using this product throughout this fall and winter season. I would definitely recommend this to anyone - especially households with small children.

Perfect for Our Family

Our family lives in the hot desert. We have asthma and allergies, so humidifiers really help us to be able to breathe easier. This Crane Droplet Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier is easily my new favorite!
