Lids Are Hard To Use

Good quality but lids are too difficult to work with. This set is too small and will store small scraps. Too much hassle to return.

These are great! A nice variety of smaller sizes. They seal well and keep my food fresh!

Heavy duty and perfect for all leftovers!I got this as a Christmas gift and can take it anywhere. Only downside is that it's heavy and weighs my bag down.

These are durable, and have a great storage capacity. Also, they are tightly sealed so they don’t leak. They are perfect for my family. It’s exactly what I needed for my kitchen. They are easy to clean.

Works well. The various sizes is great. Doesn’t stack well due to the glass. However for me having limited plastic outweighs this con. Dishwasher safe which is great.

Oxo Glass Containers

This Oxo brand glass container - including its seal lid - is of excellent quality. I have had cheaper versions of this type of container and have not lasted. I have purchased more of these Oxo containers and also in other sizes.

I love these glass containers and now only purchase these containers! They are sturdy, handle hot and cold well and are the perfect size for packing lunches and leftovers! They are affordable and last well! Would absolutely recommend!

After using this containers for less than a week some of the lids are beginning to develop "cracks", it seems that they will break sooner or later. I expected this to be good for AT LEAST a year, but it's been less than a couple of days and they are already falling apart.

Excellent product

Oxo is a sturdy and reliable go to kitchen brand. These containers are no different. They are a bit on the small side but they compliment my storage collection nicely. As I work to no longer use ziplock bags I have found that I need containers of all sizes. And more of them. I would recommend this set to anyone.

Heavy duty food storage keep iot fresh

Food stays fresher longer. Very nice looking, hefty weight. The lids were so difficult for me to snap shut I had to use whole body pressure to close them. After a month of daily use they are easier to close and I am glad I kept trying. Clear glass. Really extends life of avocados and pineapple, herbs, casseroles, fish etc. Heavy duty.

I've been wanting to switch over to glass from plastic for a while and saw that these were a pretty good deal from what I had found elsewhere. However, they were all pretty tiny. Only one can hold a few cups, the rest were less than a cup... I don't usually need 5 tiny containers all at the same time. One of the lids initially refused to go on, but I eventually forced it on and the longer it stays on, the easier it is to get it in on the first try.

This Good Grips 12 pc Container Set states this item has a "Smart Seal" in the product desciption. I think more descriptive adjectives should be added to "Smart Seal" ....such words as ingenious, amazing, totally leak-proof! Instead of just 2 locking tabs like most containers have, Good Grips has put 4 on both the rectangular and round lids. They also added a sturdy silicone gasket inside the lids. The combination of these two features really seals the containers tight and even with shaking or laying the container on its side, there is no leakage. They are a nice sizes to have for small portions. Rectangular sizes: (2) 4oz, (1) .6 Cup, (1) 3.5 Cup and Round size: (2) 1 Cup. They each come with their own lid. They can be used in the freezer, the oven and also the microwave, which is really convenient. Another great feature is that every glass container has the measurement size and a usuage picture (freezer, oven, microwave) etched on the inside bottom. I really like this information being convenienly located so there's no guessing or trying to remember everytime I use them. Containers and tops can go in the dishwasher and are also stain proof. Great set of glass containers and so well-made!

These containers can go in frig, freezer, oven and microwave! This is the benefit over all-plastic storage containers. The covers are very sturdy. I can't imagine the lid wings breaking off. The seal is tight and the lids should remain flat. I've used others that warp/curl making the seal questionable.

The OXO Good Grips 12-Piece Smart Seal Glass Container Set is a very nice set. I prefer the glass containers over the plastic ones we’ve had in the past because they heat and freeze foods much better and they don’t stain, also because of the clear glass it is much easier to see what’s inside without having to open the lid.. I also like the glass set better because it can go from freezer to microwave or oven directly. The lids snap on easily and are very secure for a no leak fit. If you do have the plastic container set the lids from the glass set are interchangeable.
