Work exactly as expected. I bought generic ones from Amazon thinking that these bags were all the same and I was wrong. The Amazon ones I have to seal at least twice to ensure they don't leak but these genuine ANOVA bags will seal tight the first time with no loss of vacuum.

Great First Effort with the Vacuum Sealer!

Wonderful! Love it! I did a first try with Salmon filets in Sous Vide. Then the real test was about 20+ pounds of Pig Roast shredded pork, in ~1-1/4# packets for the freezer (and gifting!) Once I got into the swing of it, easy-peasy! I have not yet tried cutting the roll of bags into individual sizes. Another day, another project!

Short shelf life

Appearently these things are biodegradable and have a very short shelf life after opening the package. In my case this means that I'll probably have to throw away more than half the content of this package. That doesn't sound very sustainable to me :/

Wrinkles

The rolls have a lot of wrinkles resulting in problems with holding a seal. Have to work around the wrinkles which results in some waste. Still, got a lot of product sealed.
